How Do You Think Obama Will Deal With 9/11 Truth? |
|
We all know George Bush was a liar from the get-go. Now that we have a new President, how do you think 9/11 Truth will fare in Obama's administration?

Will the widows finally get answers to the 273 out of 300 questions that got no answers?
Why AZ, Yibbe, hack, bolo, and all the other sludge around her think the widows don't deserve answers I don't know.

In case you haven't noticed, PG, nobody here on DU is setting the agenda for the Obama administration.

18. my antagonism to Obama? |
|
You completely misread me.
I admire him greatly. I believe his election was one of the most important and positive events in US history. I think his acceptance speech ranks with Frederick Douglass' "What to the Slave..." speech and with MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech. Our great grandkids (if the species survives that long) will study that speech in school. I was choked up and crying Tuesday night. I posted a thread entitled "It's America Again."
Obama has a strong commitment to unity, working with both major U.S. political parties--the right-of-center DLC "democrats" AND the far-right-of-center repukes--and focusing on solving our pressing economic problems. I expect his administration will be highly competent. Some segments of the middle class may even recover somewhat. Our illegal occupation of Iraq could even end sometime in his first term.
I don't think it fits his agenda to pursue the criminals from the bush cabal. It will be like Clinton. He'll let them slide, blow off the missing trillions of dollars and move forward.
I also expect, though, now that the justice bar has been lowered even farther, that we have not seen the last of the radical right wing criminals from Reagan, BushI and BushII. Because they never are held to justice in this country, they'll be back, and they'll be more viciously corrupt than ever.

His first suit against Bush was so incompetent the plaintiff dropped it.
Then he signed up another plaintiff. His second suit was a rambling illiterate rant that any legal secretary or law student could see for a fake from 30 paces.
The Obama suit was illiterate, too. Look at the bottom of page 2.

he made the switch as many truthers will. They don't care who they attack - their CTs are flexible enough to incorporate Obama. You will see the 911 truth movement take a RW slant in the next year as the Bush haters lose interest and the Obama haters move in. You really think those nice folks who gave us the Clinton death list and other RW wetdreams really went away for good?

19. I laughed at the Mena Arkansas story the first time I saw it |
|
on cable TV in a hick midwest motel room.
Later I learned about Barry Seal. Daniel Hopsicker says that Mena was a CIA op and that 9/11 Commissioner Richard Ben Veniste was Seal's lawyer.
That went a long way to explain why Bill Clinton was palling around with poppy Bush after the stolen 2004 election--instead of spitting in his eye like any decent man would.
You will take Obama's failure to investigate 9/11 as an indication that the questions were not legitimate to begin with. Some of the rest of us will take it as an indication that he was never to be trusted to begin with-- while heroes like Kucinich, and McKinney, and Wellstone, and Dean were.
We will see what we will see.

I think the bigger point is that you will be very much alone - without the Bush hate to fuel it, the truth movement will shrink to only the hard core acolytes.

When the disenfranchised right takes a look at the facts & joins with the movement out there, things are going to get very interesting.

27. Hopefully, He'll Consider 99% Of The Conspiracy Theorists To Be Insane And Deluded Like The Rest Of |
|
us do.
It would be nice to have the real details investigated further, since it is likely that there is so much that was not revealed or that was twisted, but as far as many of the completely insane conspiracy theories go hopefully Obama will ignore them or laugh at them like the overwhelming majority of the rest of us do.
