3. It is pretty awesome.

We were partying like crazy when they finally called it for Obama. It's been a loooooooooooooong eight years. The cover to the New Yorker expressed it best, I think (I can't find an image). It showed a tunnel, colored dark red, and one can see a blue sky at the mouth.

because I haven't been reading the forum for a while.

A long, dark night of 8 years...finally coming to an end. And, with a President who has the intelligence, patience, and, wisdom to lead this country to a much better place.

I celebrated too, AZ. I couldn't believe that the election was called so early and so decisively!

7. It was about 9 PM Arizona time when they called it.

We were all prepared for a long night, but our jaws dropped when it happened that early. I'm sad that we might be losing our governor to Obama's cabinet, but he needs all the help he can get cleaning up the mess of the last eight years. It won't be easy, but I look forward to doing all I can to help President Obama to get this country back on track!

I haven't been reading the forum much either - I've been out in the field away from a computer the last week and it looks like my work schedule will be that way for a while.
