Anyone know much about this publication? I was just gooleing and came up with this.

1. Sander Hicks has done the most thorough job on Vreeland.

I find "Wildcard" very compelling investigative journalism. Hicks isn't gullible. He finds Vreeland frustrating, and doesn't fall for his bullshit/disinfo, but he also comes to discern, by the weight of evidence which had nothing to do with Vreeland's own words, that Vreeland did indeed have an intelligence background.

BTW, Hicks has a book coming out soon called "The Big Wedding," which will include his work on the Vreeland saga.

3. Certainly what Vreeland was saying then--

fits well with what we now know about 9/11-- it was a NORAD live-fly hijack exercise that most likely was rigged to go "wrong" by "terrorists".

The targets he mentions were targets that were known to be targets of other exercises where the military "drilled" hijacked jets flying into buildings. This was actually written up in USA Today last spring. It's just that nobody in the media wants to talk about all the hijack exercises the military did BEFORE 9/11 that closely mimicked what happened on 9/11.

is that anyone takes Vreeland as anything more than a total nutcase and con man.

I guess PT Barnum was right.
