I can't tell you what DID happen (although I have my suspicions), but I'm as sure as I've ever been about anything that virtually every aspect of the "official" story is bullshit . . . to me, that means they're covering something up . . . sure would like to know what it is . . . the entirety of that day needs a fresh and unbiased investigation by someone . . . there's been a lawsuit filed recently that asks for just that . . . whether it happens probably depends on who wins on November 2 . . .

I don't know what happened either but the "official" story is crap. It is INCREDIBLE -- not believable on its face and especially not when investigated even a little bit. WAY too many "coincidences."

I'm afraid, however, that nothing will ever come of any investigation. Soon, far too soon, something far worse is going to happen and then no one will care about 9/11 any more. The neocons now need only one thing: A justification for tactical nuclear war in the Middle East.

there were 'extra' firefighters on the job. Once the gold (real gold metal) from one of the businesses was found, the firefighers were largely called off.

I've always been amazed that the mass media never picked up on that timeline.

My interest has now been piqued. After this election is over, I am going to investigate the events leading up to 9/11 and 9/11. I will do it as thoroughly and thoughtfully as I can. I want to start from scratch and ignore everything that *everyone* has said up until now, (That means the government, media, and conspiracy theorists), and come to supportable conclusions based on whatever verifiable facts are out there.

...by anything that I've seen that that's true. It's a **very** serious allegation that requires some **very** serious evidence to substantiate it. So far, I've seen only 'how d'ya explain this?' and six degrees of seperation-type evidence posited in support of both MIHOP and LIHOP. I'd like to see how much I can uncover using stringent rules for accepting evidence. I want answers that will hold up to scrutiny, not little odds and ends.

...that is to say, gather about you the things that make sense and see if they help or hinder the gov's case. For instance, the gov says 15 or so hijackers were involved in the 'twin's' destruction- they named names and produced a passport or two supposedly from the wreckage belonging to the perpetrators. But, the alledged hijackers when matched with gov-supplied names were found to have 13 or so of them still alive and well and appparently far from the scene of the crime at the time of the events. As well, the found passport was described to be in pristine condition, which was said to be located, just like that, in the rubble (when every other bit of the buildings paper products were pulverized or nearly so). Things like these just don't add up. As you delve further into the case, I'm confident you'll find many, many more anomolies in the Administration's investigation, if it can be called that. 17. Why start with a hypothesis that implicates anyone specific?

I'm going to start with the known fact that WTC Twin Towers were destroyed and the Pentagon attacked. That assumes nothing that can't be shown pretty conclusively. :)

...motive and opportunity. What are you going to do- give everybody in NYNY an interview? Anyway, if your first best prospect turns out to be a false lead, then move on to the next one. A lot of guesswork (good guesswork to be sure) is involved in solving crimes. But the body of the investigation can't be spent on no-goes like 15 Arabs who turn up alive and kicking a month later.

What I'll do is start with what the iron-clad facts are. Then I'll move out from there. For instance, I want to be sure that the planes that hit the WTC are the ones I was told hit the WTC. (I have no reason to doubt that, btw, but to be consistent I must have it substantiated that that's indeed what happened.)

...behaviors, and, the accused's. Since the accused aren't talking or exhibiting much public behavior these days, we're left with no other action than to look solely at the accusers. Which is good, since it is theirs- in my view- that prompts a good deal of suspicion.
