Requiring one strong visual thread for newbies, lurkers, passers-by.

Would 9/11 DU'ers mind posting one, or two max, photographic images that show a plane did, or did not, hit the Pentagon on 9/11/2001? One at a time would be best, no duplications if possible, unless to compare and contrast. I know there must be a thread or two already, but might be a good idea to do it again, without any discussion or explanations, just the pictures. Many thanks.

4. If that chunk of aluminum skin got peeled off the plane-

Seems to me that the leading section would be scrunched up to the point of the rivet tear. Look like it was fileted, instead.

hit the tree before it hit the building that would account for a different effect.

I would otherwise agree. If one part survives relatively intact while most of the rest did not, there must be some sort of reason.

It doesn't PROVE that a 757 hit the Pentagon, but it's an excellent rebuttal for people who say that the damage COULDN'T have been caused by a 757.

It's not a visual, but it's informative.
