WTC 7 looks to me like a longer process because it's a progressive collapse. First the local collapse around 79, then 79 buckling and taking down the interior eastern third of the building, and then the horizontal collapse of the core, followed by the perimeter columns failing and the facade collapsing.

The towers had the upper section just plowing its way through the rest of the structure.
