19. Ordered it from CSPAN online store.... figured if I put my money...

where my mouth is, it might make them consider my opinion in more than one sense.

Journalistic integrity is a great thing, but it doesn't put meat on the table or help the bottom line of a company that still has to put things on the air that have a provable audience.

I don't do cable, I barely watch TV, but if someone like me will ante up for real content on a news show, I think that is an important message for them.

Besides I can use if for educational purposes. I wonder if my Neighborhood Association has a booth at the May Day Festival this year? Maybe they could tell me how to get one of my own. I could bring my laptop and pull up real news on the web, have the DVD playing in the background and have real news handouts from various INDY sources.

Thank you CSPAN for airing Prof Griffith's speech: 9/11 Omissions/Distortions. I did not personally see this, because I have been boycotting mainstream news that is all fluff and lies and no substance.

I heard on the DemocraticUnderground that your station is actually allowing people to ask questions and voice opinions that haven't been authorized by the Sec of Homeland Security. I applaud you for coming back to journalism with this respect of questions that should be asked when evidence has been buried that in normal times would rock the nation.

When I tell people that I don't watch mainstream news anymore, I will have to add the caveat that I might have to make an exception if CSPAN keeps moving in the direction of journalistic integrity and doesn't cave to pressure by the White House.

Great job.

36. Did you watch it personally?

I am pretty much in the group that believes the government knew, but didn't necessarily orchestrate 9/11.

Still, standing aside if you know someone is going to jump off a ledge is pretty bad.

To believe in real "intent" to allow those planes to hit, I would need to know if the airlines notified as directed; and if not - why not.

If they didn't, then it's hard to hold the government accountable... unless you go back to Reagan and the terrible burden air traffic controllers face daily due to short staff situations etc... because they couldn't bargain for better conditions.

The part I read about the towers being hit by controlled explosions makes sense, but could still be the terrorists planting bombs. However why were there no reports to the media about evidence of this kind of strategic manuever?

I guess in the shock afterwards the investigation could have been done in such a way as to not look for more than the obvious. I mean two planes crashed into the towers and they fell down. But it seems to me that investigations of this type are a little more thorough.

It's pricey, $30 plus $7 shipping, but I want to see it and also loan it to other people. Also, I view this as a specific expression of gratitude and support for daring to broadcast Griffin's speech despite the firestorm that will inevitably descend upon their heads for doing so.

As I mentioned in the other thread ( http://tinyurl.com/bnkus ), a web site in Canada which is supposed to have a downloadable video of the broadcast is now yielding instead a file that has the right name but is about STEROIDS IN SPORTS - someone made a switch. The comment thread on that download site also referred more than once to "inexplicable system-wide failure." Yes, I am feeling :tinfoilhat: . Aren't you? If Griffin is right - and he sounds most convincing on top of all we already knew - VERY powerful people comprise a conspiracy which involves the highest levels of our government and will stop at NOTHING to keep their secrets about 9/11 and everything else they have done. It's the scandal that would bring them down and get them tried for treason and they know it.

The CSPAN store says that copies are made on demand, it's not like they have them sitting on the shelf. I wonder if they will stop supplying them soon? :tinfoilhat: For now, they are available in DVD and VHS.
