Why they lied about the black box
Edited on Fri Jun-03-05 01:45 AM by FreedomAngel82
I just finished watching "Loose Change" the 9/11 documentary that addresses a lot of the simpler question's and tries to answer or at least make you think about it. They raise the issue of the black box that was found on site. The "official" story claimed the box was destroyed but then while people were cleaning up the site they found the black box sitting right there. Now why would they lie about a simple box? At first I thought maybe it had to do with what's inside. But I think it has to do with both. Why? The black box would prove the type of plane that was used on 9/11. Them lying about the black box is a HUGE issue because it would show the "official" story was a total lie and would have some major question's from all of us and the whole world as well I think. If they did lie about the plane's being used where are the original one's? We'll probably never know what happened with that. Here's the deal with the black box's. A commercial plane carries TWO DIFFERENT black box's. According to the FBI seven of the eight box's were damaged without repair. On ABC News' website they told how the FBI claimed to find the passport of Satan Suqami in all the rubble and he was supposivley on Flight 11. Apparently this passport was able to fly out of his pocket, the rubble and onto the Manhattan streets below. Sounds like bullshit doesn't it? What's in the black box and why is it important to this story? Inside is a CSMU (Crash Servival Memory Unit) memory unit. It's able to withstand high unranium and sillca and heat up to 2,000 degree's for over an hour, salt water and jet fule for thirty (THIRTY!) days and still survive. A black box holds one of two different recorders: a cockpit voice recorder and a flight data recorder. The cockpit voice recorder records sounds from inside the cockpit including engine noise, stalled warnings and other sounds of intrest. Communications with air traffic control and other breifings between pilots and crew are also recorded. The flight data recorder records at least twenty-eight different preamatures such as time, altitude, speed and heading. Some other record some 300 other flight characteristics anything from auto pilot to smoke alarm. The recorders themselves are made from the most industructable alloies known to man which the information is marked into along with date and time and spun into a continuious roll. Any damage that is done to the roll is done to the outside as opposed to the inside where the data is (in other words everything recorded should be there in perfect place).
So in summerization seven different black box's made from the most
reselent material known to man were all destroyed completley beyond compare. Yet a passport made from a fragile material known as paper managed to fly from 2,000 degree's explosion and land undamaged blocks away where the FBI convientley found it and there by incriminating Saquri and Al-Quida for the attacks. Sounds like b.s. doesn't it?

2. Witnesses said they found some of the black boxes
At the time of the disaster, Nicholas DeMasi was a firefighter at Engine Company 261 in Queens. (The firehouse was shut down in 2003, after a century of operation.)

In the weeks that followed 9/11, he joined an all-terrain vehicle crew (ATV Unit) at Ground Zero. In "Behind-the-Scenes," he describes his experience as follows: "If you needed anything, go ask the ATV Guy, they're the gopher guys."

On page 108 comes the revelation:

"At one point I was assigned to take Federal Agents around the site to search for the black boxes from the planes. There were a total of four black boxes. We found three."

Another firefighter backed him up on this.

3. Has anyone heard any follow up on this? Since it contradicts the official
story and 9/11 Commission report it is important. Did I hear that they were willing to take a lie detector test? If it hasn't been done, Why hasn't it been done?

4. Here is the other firefighter's statement about the black boxes
Edited on Sat Jun-04-05 11:44 PM by philb
A 9-11 rescue worker recently came forward to say he was told by FBI agents to “keep my mouth shut” about one of the “black boxes” a fellow firefighter helped locate at ground zero, contradicting the official story that none of the flight and c***pit data recorders were ever recovered in the wreckage of the World Trade Center (WTC) towers.

Honorary firefighter Mike Bellone claims he was approached by unknown bureau agents a short time after he and his partner, Nicholas DeMasi, a retired New York firefighter, found three of the four “black boxes” among the WTC rubble before January 2002.

The pair first claimed in an August 2003 book entitled Behind the Scene: Ground Zero to have found the data recorders.

DeMasi said the “black boxes” were found while he traversed “ground zero” in his all-terrain vehicle (ATV) with three federal agents.

FBI and New York fire officials have denied ever finding the voice and data recorders.

http://www.perspectives.com/forums/forum71/23256.html

Now Bellone claims agents were adamant about keeping the discovery a secret.

“They confronted me and told me to not to say anything,” recalled Bellone, referring to one of three reddish-orange boxes with two white stripes he saw in the back of DeMasi’s ATV. “I said, ‘Give me a good reason.’ When they couldn’t, I told them I wouldn’t shut up about it.

“Why should I? I have nothing to hide and nothing to gain. It’s the truth, and Nick and I are sticking to our story as we always have.”

Bellone said he and DeMasi were not the only 9-11 rescue workers to see the “black boxes.” He said there were several other witnesses and said he knows they have been silenced by federal agents.

“I know two or three others saw what went down, but they are not talking,” said Bellone. “They got to those guys after they talked to me. The only reason I can figure they are trying to hide the truth is that the government knows it screwed up, and the recorders would prove it.”
The day the “black boxes” were secretly carted away, agents acted like “something big was going down,” he added.

Bellone said he never learned the FBI agents’ names as this type of personal contact and information wasn’t exchanged between the civilian workers and government officials working side-by-side at ground zero.

“They had on their FBI jackets, but I’m sure I could pick them out of a lineup or recognize their pictures,” said Bellone.

The pair’s bombshell accusations blow a big hole in the official story as well as the findings in the recent 9-11 commission report.”

In Chapter 1, footnote 76, there is the sole but definitive reference to the airline “black boxes”: “The CVR’s and the FDR’s from American 11 and United 175 were not found.”

Asked if DeMasi and Bellone were questioned or subpoenaed, commission spokesman Al Felzenberg said: “I can’t tell you now if he was one of the 1,200 people we interviewed or if the book was one of the countless ones we researched. We explored every lead, but I will try to find out if we talked with him and get back to you.”

Bellone said commission members never contacted him or DeMasi and never asked the two to appear before the group even though the book was published well before the hearings commenced.

“I have been contacted by only one newspaper reporter, from The Philadelphia Daily News,” said Bellone, referring to an October 2004 story by reporter William Bunch, who recapped DeMasi’s statements as well as the usual official denials.

Those close to the 9-11 investigation said the recovery of the “black boxes” is important because they may hold vital clues about what really happened on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.

Both recorders are designed to withstand enormous impact and heat. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) officials said they should have withstood the conditions at the WTC.
And finding the boxes after a crash seems to be standard procedure, according to the NTSB.

“It’s extremely rare that we don’t get the recorders back,’ said NTSB spokesman Ted Lopatkiewicz. “I can’t remember another case which we did not recover the recorders.”.......

5. Why isn't this getting a lot of attention? Firefighters contradict offical
story and the 9/11 Commission Report.
Yet they aren't even called by the 9/11 Commission to check out their statement.
This seems to me like a big deal. The flight recorders would likely shed light on 9/11 events that isn't known(to the public).
Why isn't this being taken seriously?
