Another investigation
While discussion the WTC several people said all they wanted was new investigation. The question is who would you find with the required technical knowledge that was not all ready associated with the first investigation. To you envision a citizens committee?

1. A broad consortium of experts and citizens from diverse backgrounds
including some technical experts from various relevant disciplines.
With experts chosen by several of the respected associations perhaps.
But independence is a prime criteria, and access to information needed to answer unanswered questions.
The body in charge of the investigation needs some expertise, but independence and lack of special interest is more important.
And the charge to pursue all questions irregardless of where the evidence leads.

That hasn't been true for any "investigations" to date.

6. independence is a prime criteria
I say only an international commission can possibly be dispassionate
enough to find the truth.

2. So you still haven't looked at the 9-11 Citizens Commission,

which has not only been envisioned but also created and already has done a lot of work.

You make it sound as though there's just enough expertise out there to form one commission, and that there just are not enough experts to form another independent commission. Is that what you mean? If so, are you serious?

Besides, "the entire membership of the Kean Commission is horribly and blatantly compromised by often egregious conflicts of interests that would have made them ineligible for participation in the tribunal charge", as Ruppert puts it.

Details on conflict of interest of the official 9-11 commission here:

3. The 9/11 Comm. Report has been well documented to be a flagrant

revisionist attempt to explain unsupportable statements and theories, and a flagrant cover-up.

The 9-11 Commission effort is a much more credible effort.
Of course it also resulted in a rather different result.

Any evidence of issues the 9/11 Commission Report is more credible than the citizens commission report on?

4. I have no opinion one way or the other...
I was just curious how it would happen. Does membership in an organization that worked with NIST or FEMA disqualify one from this commission? Can a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers participate?

The 9/11 commission was a political creature - I agree whole heartedly that there were conflicts.

5. Membership in credible assoc. surely doesn't disqualify anyone
but the process for how representative is chosen is important
