Why does the US government link to Rense to prove the flight 77 story?

http://usinfo.state.gov/media/Archive/2005/Jun/28-581634.html

A US State Department website arguing that flight 77 hit the Pentagon, links to Rense* for pictures of 757 parts in the Pentagon. (scroll to "Passenger and Crew Remains Recovered at Pentagon Crash Site")

Is this really the best they can do?

*a UFO website and a site banned from use at DU for anti-semitism.

2. OK, so who wants to debunk this state.gov website step by step?
I read through their list of evidence and nearly 99% of it is debunkable. How about the remains of passengers?

All I can muster at the moment is --- Hey, State department. Prove it! Release all the Pentagon tapes that were confiscated on 9-11. What's there to hide?

Anyone up to the task? They are on the run. LOL.

4. I think State Dept...

is trying to sucker in ALL off the 9/11 skeptics into another video analysing, forensic analysis blackhole.

Keep the videos, pickup all (mostly) physical evidences quickly, don't talk about about it on grounds of national security, let a fog of "????" loom over it, let it simmer for 4 years, then BOOM get the tapes out that show Fl 77 hitting the Pentagon! Et voila, 9/11 is now resolved and debunked since you can see Fl 77 hitting the wall! :sarcasm:

With this move, they'll probably try to tie the wargames, insider trading and foreknowledge aspects with the Pentagon issue and wipe it off the face of the MSM or kill any chances it would have to get there.

But on the brighter side, hey people have got the *STATE DEPARTEMENT*'s website to link to Rense!

Don't get me wrong, I think there is gray zones about the Pentagon impact, but the evidences and 'counter-evidences' found at that site don't convince me as much as other aspects. That's my opinion.

I'll buy the "forensic analysis blackhole" and the "brighter side" is appropriate.

i also agree with the 'counter-evidences' issue at the pentagon which is why I avoid discussion on it. I feel it is filled with false, planted, misrepresented information.

The miracle of free fall and total pulverization of skyscrapers, now those are solid issues.

3. They are not trying to prove the flt 77 story,
they are showing tips on how to spot misinformation.

Frankly, the link to Rense is an excellent choice.

8. Why is it "an excellent choice"? Please enlighten us.
Especially since that site is verboten here.

5. I was going to look for that site after listening to NPR
Eric Weiner I think? did this awful piece on 9-11 "conspiracy theories" and why people latch on to them because they are "in denial". I was so mad I e-mailed them , even though I don't think they read their emails. They compared 9-11 "conspiracy theories" to theories that the US Military was behind the recent tsunami. Of course they didn't say WHY people wouldn't let go of their 'conspiracy theories". They mentioned that government site so I was curious.

6. This is interesting....
Remotely Controlled Flight Not Possible

A Boeing Company official stated that Boeing has designed its commercial airplanes so that it is impossible to control them remotely. Elizabeth Verdiev, a spokesperson for Boeing, stated on June 16, 2005:

No Boeing commercial jet transport can be controlled from outside the airplane. No Boeing commercial jet transport can be "commanded" or have its flight controlled other than from within the flight deck by the pilots. Pilots can program the airplane to take off, fly to a destination and land automatically, but Boeing design philosophy keeps pilots in control and in the decision-making loop at all times.

Impossible? I find this hard to believe.

11. Methinks they protest too much.
Why wouldn't RC systems be a good thing? We just saw an example how it might have benefit the industry last week in the plane crash in Greece. They seem to go out of their way in downplaying an obvious conept that'd enhance flying safety. Boeing wouldn't have customers interested in this? Wouldn't that be a competitive advantage over Airbus? And I see no reason why the adaptive technology doesn't exist to retrofit the current generation of Boeing commercial aircraft.

I think this is pure disinfo inside the disinfo bunking vehicle.

10. Now I see why you think American 77 didn't hit the Pentagon!
The State Department website is horrific - almost as bad a Meyssan himself. What do they think they are doing? They say "several" passengers called off AA 77 and then give two names (two is not several in my book), one of whom was not a passenger (Renee May) and the other was Barbara Olson - even if the calls took place her husband was clearly so confused about it, you have to treat what he says with a grain of salt. Most of the eyewitnesses (all of whom are unreliable IMHO) didn't see the plane actually crash, etc., etc. They don't even mention Hani, the turn, the under-the-radar approach, the size of the hole, the lot. Christ on a bike, I could knock up a better denial in half an hour.
