Anyone caught that? Here you go:
rtsp://cspanrm.fplive.net/cspan/project/ter/ter_wj081005_weldon.rm
You, of course, need RealPlayer or Real Alternative.

2. One thing among others... |

That CSPAN is showing a copy of "the chart" he's been talking about since the start of this story...
He doesn't seem to mention Clinton much, worth a look if you really want to hear what he said.

Able Danger used "Open Source" info which was generally available to to do massive data mining in order to make the connections to the Al Qaeda cells. The Open Source nature of the info should have allowed it to have been shared with the FBI.
He said he was not sure if it was DOD lawyers or White House Lawyers that prevented the flow of info. (sure would be nice to know)
He said the Able Danger findings were presented to the 911 Comm staff but it was omitted from the report because they "didn't want to go down that road".
IMHO Weldon seems like an honest injun - for a Repug - which is probably why his party has not taken this and run with it - because he's actually on to something.
Mostly the finger gets pointed once again at the 911 Commission.
