"Who Gets Power?" Guess = Only Those Who Keep Secrets Of 9-11. |
|
I don't care what culture this society sprouts, they all help in keeping secrets. Those folks are the only ones given the power to share in mass media.
Directly or indirectly, avoidence of issues graifying social comfort and political correctness dominate as our purposes are vague. Popularity and entertainment rule making a grand question,
"in the dumbing down of America, exactly what was it we did not learn?"
Anything but the most difficult underlying truth is just not going to work for us.
Check Farenheit 9-11, no towers falling. The only real value of it was bush going into a trance while the goat story was read and Congress persons from all over the nation trying to get a senator to sign their objections to the certification of the 2,000 election.

2. Maybe F911 was of little value to you, because maybe you |
|
already knew everything in it.
I found it mind-blowing. If not for the fact that I'd heard of the law firm that did the fact-checking, I would have written it off as a lunatic rant. I decided to check on the fact-checking, and found it was all absolutely true. And I found that in fact Moore didn't tell half of what there was.
Which was very wise. Because obviously America was not ready for the half he did tell.
He could have shown pictures of people jumping out of the towers juxtaposed with Bush's "The Pet Goat", but it would have been a cheap shot and it would have deflected the debate away from the true issues toward the question of Moore's poor taste and disrespect to the dead.

7. petgoat Is Not Keeping Secrets, But The Rest Are. F9-11 Good reminder. |

The other responses are good example of how helping to keep secrets becomes a casual social reflex, common boundaries are often forgotten so folks can share in the ridicule of one such as I that exposes secrets.
A failure to understand the threads starting post is dissociation or fake dissociation to encourage dissociation, nothing else.
petgoat is on topic with relevant comment, quality comment. F9-11 is certainly everything petgoat describes. I didn't know all of it but most, it was a great graphic reminder.
I remember posting on MM's bulletin board after the movie came out. I made my points with my evidence and starting getting some support, then the "Bowling for Columbine" board was removed from the website.
petgoat, I agree completely with this, great perspective.

Still, he should have shown the towers falling, 10 seconds is all it takes.

4. Incoherent!!! - Duplicate |
|
This is a duplicate of a message that Chris sent to me as an unrelated response to something I had written. I don't mean to tease anyone with a mental disability, but this message indicates either that Chris uses language translation, that he is schizophrenic, or that he does not really care whether we understand what he is talking about and has not read himself what he has written. Its like a Hunter S. Thompson drug binge scrawl. Chris, would you care to translate?

5. I am not sure what he is saying here either, and I have noticed this with |
|
his posts before.
He often seems to write things in short hand that assume we understand his thought process.

6. I was thinking it's more akin to a Jim Morrison |
|
stream of consciousness, except less coherent.
