We NEED Patrick Fitzgerald to investigate 9-11

1. Fitzgerald is an insider/coverup-artist (unfortunately).

Remember Ali Mohamed? If anyone ever needed a clue about
phony terrorism, this guy was it. He was an instructor at
the elite Special Warfare School at Fort Bragg and an
informer for the FBI. At the same time he handled many
operations and training exercizes for Al Qaeda. At long last,
after years of protection by Military Intelligence and the
FBI, Mohamed was arrested in connection with the 1998
embassy bombings. Patrick Fitzgerald was brought in to
handle this very delicate situation. After a typically
ruthless "Bulldog" investigation, Fitzgerald concluded that
Mohamed had "infilitrated" both the US Army Special Forces
and the FBI on behalf of the all-mighty bin Laden. This is
especially hilarious considering that Mohamed only met bin
Laden AFTER he joined the Special Forces, and he did so with
the full knowledge of his superiors.

Fitzgerald kept Mohamed's arrest a secret for 8 months while
he negotiated a plea agreement, the nature of which is still
kept secret. Then Mohamed dissappeared without a trace.

It's interesting that the Able Danger program was being
destroyed at exactly the same time that Patrick Fitzgerald
was handling the Ali Mohamed coverup. I'll append a
timeline about these two operations.

*** 1984 *** Former Egyptian intelligence officer Ali Mohamed
briefly works for the CIA. Then he is fired by the Agency, and
his name is placed on the State Department's terrorist watch list.

on political aspects of military operations.

In one of his articles De Atkine praised the propaganda preparation
for the Gulf War, saying that by the time the war began “the enemy
was well-defined and demonized and had no domestic US constituency.”

De Atkine has also contributed articles to Middle East Forum,
an aggressively neoconservative and pro-Israeli journal edited
by neocon godfather, Daniel Pipes. One of these articles, a
denunciation of leftist and Arab influences in academia, was
written together with Pipes.

*** 1987 *** Ali Mohamed takes leave from Army to train Mujahedeen
in Afghanistan. He informs Lt. Col. Steve Neely of his plans, who
passes the information on up the chain of command. No action is
taken either to prevent Ali Mohamed from doing this or to debrief
him on his return {The Cell, John Miller, Hyperion, New York, 2002,
pg. 143}. Lt. Col. Robert Anderson also reports Mohamed’s
suspicious activities to Army Intelligence. The lack of any form
of disciplinary action taken on the basis of these reports leads
Lt. Col. Anderson to conclude that Mohamed’s activities are
sponsored by a US intelligence agency.

*** 1987 – 1989 *** Ali Mohamed works with Abdel Rahman’s group in
New York. Mohamed organizes small arms training sessions for the

*** 1991 *** Ali Mohamed handles security for bin Laden's move to

tracking Atta and three of the other alleged hijackers who have
been meeting in the New Jersey area. They have been identified

*** OCTOBER 2000 *** Patrick "Bulldog" Fitzgerald completes his
"prosecution" of Ali Mohamed. Mohamed pleads guilty to five
counts of conspiracy to kill nationals of the United States in
connection with the 1998 embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania.
The plea agreement he negotiated with Fitzgerald, however, remains
a secret to this day.

After the trial Ali Mohamed drops from sight, and the case receives
no further attention, as far as we can determine, either from the
government or the mainstream media. His whereabouts are unknown,
as is his status either as a prisoner or as a free man. This most
crucial source – a high level al-Qaeda operative close to bin
Laden, Zawahiri and Abdel Rahman, while at the same time an
operative and informant for military intelligence and the FBI, has
simply disappeared.

3. Another interesting article on Ali Mohammed

CIA-trained, FBI informant, accused by defense attorneys in the '93 WTC
bombing case of being paid by the CIA, hosted al-Zawahiri at his
apartment in California, pled guilty to involvement in the '98 Africa
embassy bombings. Awaiting sentencing in 7/01, and disappeared after
9/11.

I knew about Fitzie's role in the Muhammed case, but that's a nice collection of links.

I'm not sure it means Fitzgerald is a "cover-up artist" though. He was young - in his 30s - and prosecuting a "national security" related case. He must have had many meetings with CIA and military officials who probably made it very clear to him that there were things that couldn't be exposed due to "national security" concerns. Fitzgerald likely found it unwise to rock the boat too much. I'll suspend judgement until I see what comes of is current investigation. If it ends with Libby, it's a cover-up.

I agree. He would have been very susceptible to advice from more
experienced people.

He's in a position to know a lot about Ali Mohamed, the CIA and al
Qaeda, and being from Chicago he surely heard about Robert Wright's
stymied investigation into Yasin al Qadi (and probably al Qadi's
connection to Ptech) and about David Schippers's warnings of upcoming
attacks in Manhattan.

We have no way of knowing whether this knowledge makes him angry,
fearful, or acquiescent. We must not sit on our bums waiting for Fitz
to save the world.

6. Peter Dale Scott on Fitzgerald

He charges that Fitz misled the 9/11 Commission, minimizing Ali
Mohamed's relationship to the FBI.

He says Ali was arrested by the RCMP in 1993 and was freed after one
call to the USA.
