What do you think of Alex Jones? (A 911 tinfoil hatter post)
I tend to think he's right about a lot of things. He comes off a little crazy at first, but if you can look past that, the man really makes a lot of sense. The only problem I have is that he is big on this whole left/right paradigm idea, like there is no difference between us and freeps, just meant to keep us fighting while they steal the world. In theory, I get it, but you just can't tell me there's no difference between me and a freeper. Anyway, just wondering what my fellow DU tinfoil hatters think of the guy. Does he seem legit. to you? Here's his website, incase you don't know who he is. http://www.infowars.com/ :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat: :tinfoilhat:

BTW, this was not meant to start a whole coincidence theory war. If you don't don the foil, don't knock me because I do.

2. so you believe the whole left/right thing i was talking about?
like i said, in theory, it makes perfect sense. it's just hard to reconcile the idea that there is no diff. between us and freepers. do you know what i mean?

5. There is a difference
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 04:39 PM by SittingBull
look at a coin: Bothe sides look quite different, although they belong to the same coin.

So if you'll like to controll a population, the easiest way is to control by divide et empera with controlling both poles the same time.

Now- is the 911truthmovement one side of this control? No- most likely not. Even it it was infiltrated with some Co-Intelpro-Agents.

It's like the Matrix- if you discover the truth about reign and controll, you'll never step back to the happy slavery that you once live. You'll look cautious at every fact the rulers may present- you goin' down the rabbit hole.
And you'll discover more and more details about the way they work. This I can assure you.

6. BTW:
nevertheless whether I agree or don't agree with all of Alex Jones talking-points- I suppose you won't find someone that shares all his views with you, and, if so, what will that say about the situation?

We should concentrate on the things that we share and have in common.

7. i just wonder sometimes,
what other people are thinking. because like i was saying, alex jones, on a lot of points makes a lot of sense to me. 10 years ago, i would have thought he was a looney nutjob. and so from time to time, i try to gauge myself on the spectrum. have i completely lost my mind, or am i just seeing clearly for the first time in my life? you know, in times like this when i feel i cannot trust one single thing i hear from my government, i wonder if it's just me. or if ANYONE else out there is feeling the same way.
btw - Alex Jones does support Hugo Chavez. He has talked about him quite a few times on his radio show. Not wholeheartedly, he is still a little skeptical as to whether or not he is the real thing, but says he has seen nothing that Chavez has done that would prove he is some kind of a puppet. Alex Jones sees globilization as the #1 problem in the world and Hugo Chavez is actively fighting against just that.

9. No, you are not alone
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 05:41 PM by SittingBull
with this experience. You feel alone because most people live in denial, but they don't have the same insights like you, they don't want to know the ugly truth, it's a heck easier to live in self-caused under-age, as Kant stated.

Some won't admit that they have similar insights. They have fear- or ar just undecisive. Some are beginners, they just discern the rabbit-hole ;-)

I support every word you say about your androgenic point of view- just stay sceptical, but, as mentioned in the bible:

Don't despond. Look for the cultural creatives. They are out there. And they grow.

And yes, globalisation, greed, deception, wars, steadily growing dollar as leading currency etc.
are the same way of expression about the same ugly thing- the rule over the masses by the few for their own benefit.

I have some book-tips. The picture was from panokratie- http://www.panokratie.de/downloads/pano.zip
I also enjoyed Thom Hartmanns Last Days of ancient sunlight. Or Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.
I recommend everybody Stephen Zarlengas book: The lost science of money... http://www.monetary.org/

All the people which I got to know yet don's stop after entering the Doors. There's much more out there.

But you have to go the way for yourself. Nobody could do this job for you. And be careful if someone told you the right way in the rabbit-hole.

Sorry, if this sounds pathetic. ;-)

13. Thanks for this post
Your right there's much more, well, in here, if we listen to our hearts, and take time out, to go where our hearts lead us.
I've got a good kick here from your post, forward, no, backward, where I should have listened, and gone before. Peace

10. Back in the 90's
I used to read conspiracy mags for a bit of fun, you know, stuff about the Illuminati, MIB, black helicopters, crop circles etc etc. It was like reading science fiction.

Nowadays that stuff is lame compared to the abuses at Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay, the DSM, Plamegate, NSAgate, Abramoffgate, "extraordinary renditions" etc etc. And you can read that stuff in the mainstream newspapers...(usually months or years after the blogs, but still it's all pretty much out in the open).
