This analysis of the possible use of pre-positioned explosives in buildings at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 that may have contributed to their destructions, and is supported by photographic images, press reports and human testimonies, will begin with the lingering controversy surrounding the damage to WTC building 6, noted after the collapses of the WTC towers 1 and 2 and will focus on photographic evidence suggesting possible explosive damage to this building prior to these collapses.
Other 9/11 researchers have previously asserted that the hole evident in the roof of the 8 story tall WTC 6 building depicted in the following image, suggests the possible use of an explosive device in it's lower levels, given that this large, deep and well defined hole apparently reaches all the way to the building's lowest levels and that the scattered and small variety of debris that fell onto WTC 6 due to the collapse of WTC 1 (evident within this hole) is seemingly not significant enough to have created this opening.
