I am not a conspiracy theorist, but the more I read the more I believe that Bush knew and did nothing or they helped to engineer the attack. I don't have any such low opinion of special operations forces. When we say it was an 'inside' job, that doesn't necessarily translate into it being done by "W"--who, without a doubt, is a first class idiot. But, then again, that is why they had him where he belongs: In a grade school class room where he wouldn't get in the way.

Who are "they"? Well, IF 9/11 was an inside job there are four people we can name who would had to have known: Cheney, Rumsfeld, Myers and Eberhart. There may be others, but we can name these four. Most everyone else we can name could be 'played'. The president, for example, who knows what he knew or thought? In such operations, it is always on a 'need to know' basis. Who needs to know what? Clearly, no one at FAA needed to know; and it was Cheney's office that was in charge of all war-game scenarios on 9/11, while Rumsfeld's office was directly overseeing any 'hijacking' chains of command. These new policies had been put in place earlier in 2001. Eberhart was head of NORAD--and was commander in chief of the Northern Space Command.

Don't ever think this kind of thing could not be pulled off. It could be. Military scenarios like this are played out via war games all the time. Rumsfeld and Cheney have been imbedded in the top secret national security chains of command and communications since the Reagan erra. They know it inside and out. The whole "Mohammed Atta and the flying circus" is a contrived back story, made handy by the CIA and put forward by the FBI and never questioned by government or corporate media. Less evidence that al Quida had anything to do with 9/11 has been put forward than that Sadam had WMD. Far less.

I do believe entering into WWII was an honorable thing to do, but establishing a "War Against Terror", especially by the Bush Administration, is so hypocritical as to be a big slap in the face to anyone even pretending to be a patriot. It's like Reagan establishing the War on the Drugs while the CIA had geared up to pull off the biggest drug deals of all time. Why are there radical jihadists to begin with? It's all our government's doing and the people continually are paying the price in lives and money. Bush will ultimately be asking for trillions of dollars to fight this war. Where is the outrage?
