Who is Charles Burligame, Flight 77 pilot?
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A38407-2001Sep15

At Dulles Airport, Capt. Charles Burlingame, who had been a Navy F-4 pilot and once worked on anti-terrorism strategies in the Pentagon , was steering his 757, American Airlines Flight 77, down the runway for the long flight to Los Angeles. Plenty of empty seats in his cabin, like several other cross-country trips at that hour.

1. Usually I'm disappointed to see posts moved to the 9/11 Forum.
But this one may get more answers there.

Burlingame caught my attention. Actually, his SISTER did.

IIRC she is one of the organizers of "9/11 Families for a Secure America". And I can't recall correctly, but I think I had the feeling that the organization was set up, for among other reasons, to help confuse people. http://www.911fsa.org

The "Jersey Girls", the ones who pushed for an inquiry, are known as the 9/11 Families Steering Committee. And they had a whole pile of questions THAT WERE NEVER ANSWERED. http://www.911independentcommission.org

Those unanswered questions, not holograms, or lasers, or missiles (forget about all that for a moment), are what help me first realize that the Official Story was a bogus CONSPIRACY THEORY.

By the way, don't miss the MINUTEMAN/PATRIOT RALLY that 9/11 Families for a Secure America are involved in. :eyes: http://www.911fsa.org/action/mmpr.html

2. This was one fact that I hadn't heard about until recently. That he was
actually working with the pentagon on various scenarios INCLUDING planes hitting the pentagon. Too much of a coincidence. Anyway, I'm sure this will get moved. :eyes:

3. A lot of the passenger on that flight
worked for Raytheon.

Just another oddity.

9. Sounds like a good excuse
Has anyone ever seen the movie Millennium. That's what the 9-11 flight reminds me of.

13. Perhaps they were evaluating/testing remote control systems as part of
Vigilant Guardian? My understanding was that it was a real time live simulation testing air defenses and terrorist scenarios, like hijacking. I believe some of the deceased were involved with this program.

8. Raytheon's a large multinational corporation based in Mass.
Not surprising that they had employees on that plane, IMO.

10. Of course not
but it is worth looking into, since about a 3rd of the passengers were Raytheon employees.

11. I don't disagree.
I'm just pointing out that the number of Raytheon employees on AAL77 isn't in itself suspicious.

12. Considering that a majority of airline pilots are ex-military
why is this such a big deal - I would venture a guess that if you pick any airliner at random, there would be at least one ex-military in the cockpit.
