Wash. Journal's worst host did a big no no this a.m.

first out of the box; the first paper article he read he added a word that changed the sentence.

OK - he does that all the time.

but later in the 3 hrs. a caller started talking about the plane (?) that went into the Pentagon. about how NO pieces of the huge plane was found.

the host nearly lost it - cut off the caller in mid word, leaned toward the camera and said that what the caller said was "ridiculous" and he wasn't having it.

Wow! neutral went out the window at the speed of light.

was that a beam of FEAR in his eyes? fear of the truth?

WHAT THE CALLER SAID WAS NOT RIDICULOUS, AS WE WELL KNOW

1. No. No, we don't.
And I get pretty much the same hysterical reaction. It ain't fear, trust me.

2. Which stellar persona of neutrality was it?
I know it couldn't have been Brian Lamb because he's only on Fridays.

I've been playing phone tag this AM and missed the WJ.

So PLEASE do tell?

3. If someone
calls & starting talking about a conspiracy theory like that, they're going to get cut off. I really doubt it was fear in his eyes, unless it was fear for the screener that let that call pass.

4. Who is 'we'?
A plane hit the Pentagon. To suggest that it wasn't an a plane but was instead something else is not JUST ridiculous, it's the worst sort of delusional paranoia. It's utter fucking LUNACY to subscribe to the theory that a CIA black ops team disappeared a 757 and a planeload of passengers just so they could fire a missile into the building and give the impression that it was done by an aircraft.

Also effective use of profanity. Very effective reasoning. You have convinced me. Perhaps you should be the host of the Washington Journal.

Sue me.

And this is such an absurd idea that it doesn't even deserve consideration; the aircraft was SEEN by eyewitnesses, and captured on video cameras; American Airlines Flight 77, Boeing 757 N644AA, utterly disappeared on 11 September 2001, as did all passengers and crew...it doesn't take a master of inductive reasoning to conclude that a) an aircraft did in fact strike the Pentagon and b) it was in fact AA Flight 77.

15. Do You Have a Link?
DO you have a link to any video of an airplane hitting the Pentagon?

Why is the government not allowing any video it has to be shown??

17. Do YOU have a reasonable and logical explanation...
for what became of Boeing 757, FAA no. N644AA, and its passengers and crew, on or after 11 September 2001? Especially in light of the fact that there is no question at all that two OTHER aircraft struck the World Trade Center? If 9/11 WAS in fact an inside job (a possibility I'm open to entertaining, within reasonable limits) why would aircraft have been used on one target and not another? Have you never heard of Ockham's Razor?

....have a link to any videos taken of a plane crashing into the Pentagon.

Am I correct?

24. You know, I was buying that until I got to this sentence:
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 11:56 AM by Clark2008
just as the planes flown into the World Trade Center towers burned up, and the intensity of their jet-fuel fires caused both towers to collapse

That is total garbage. Any physics professor can tell you that jet fuel igniting paper and office furniture will never get hot enough to melt steel. It takes prolonged exposure to more than 2800 degrees Fahrenheit to melt steel and the fires in the WTC burned at a MAXIMUM of 1520 degrees Fahrenheit.

Now, I'm sure people saw a plane crashing into the Pentagon - of some sort - but I'm not buying this official Snopes claim at all - it's a bit to easily influenced by the mainstream conspiracy theory (better known as the government's "official" version). There more than likely was a plane - maybe even THE plane - but for Snopes to whitewash the whole thing with the offical version is a bit numbing.

This actually saddens me - that Snopes hasn't even looked into basic physics.

25. Except that it's not necessary for the steel to completely melt.
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 11:57 AM by Spider Jerusalem
Even temperatures of 1500C would be enough to weaken the integrity of the supports (I have a cousin who's deputy chief of the local fire department; he's assured me that building fires are enough to cause structural steel beams to warp and sag under the weight they support); couple that weakening with the mass supported, and the explanation is more than plausible.

26. "the explanation is more than plausible"
As a hand-waving argument, yes. But NIST has not one piece of core steel showing heating
above 250 degrees C. Why not?

Fires weaken roof trusses on supermarkets and bowling alleys. Fire had never brought down
a steel high-rise.

9. Got proof?
There have been hundreds of links on DU alone proving that there was no plane that hit the Pentagon. A whole plane just doesn't disappear. Yet a whole plane was not recovered from the Pentagon. It is utter lunacy to believe something the Bush government tells you without considering the facts that debunk it.

13. Disappear? No.
But...an airplane is essentially an aluminum eggshell weighing 100 tons, full of jet fuel. The combination of impact forces (striking a massive reinforced-concrete wall at a velocity in excess of 300 knots) and the resultant explosion and conflagration from the plane's jet fuel quite adequately explains the lack of any large debris recovered from the site to anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of simple physics.

8. Obviously, The Host of Washington Journal...
...knows what happens to anyone who allows the secrets this regime is trying to hide come out into the open.

First, the jack-booted thugs running things intentionally kill thousands of people.

Second, they enact laws that strip away our rights as free people.

Then, they beginning killing anyone who speaks the truth.

No wonder the host looked very afraid and said, "We'll have none of that!"

31. Oh, yes. I'm convinced now!
"Yet here is a pile of crumpled aluminum debris, and clearly seen mixed in with it are pieces of luggage. Since the Pentagon itself does not travel, we can conclude that the luggage (and the aluminum shards mixed with them) are part of the remains of the passenger jet which hit the Pentagon."

Tore and melted the thick aluminum plane to pieces, yet left the much softer luggage material in large enough pieces to be identified.

One of far too many discrepancies to point out.

If it smells like BS...
