Did anyone else see the flash?
Edited on Tue May-16-06 06:59 PM by DoYouEverWonder
What the hell?

On Video #2 of the Pentagon attack, at about :34 sec is a major flash.

The object goes into the building. There is a huge red fire ball from the fuel. Then the fire ball starts to disappate and there seems to be a secondary explosion deeper in the building. This secondary explosion causes an enormous white flash, that does not occur in the first explosion. Someone want to take a shot at explaining what's happening here?

1. Finally found a picture that illustrates what I am referring to
Edited on Sun May-21-06 07:12 AM by DoYouEverWonder
Look at the third frame from the end of the series. That is what I am talking about. If you watch the video it is even more apparent because the flash lasts for a couple of frames.

What the hell cause it?

Edit: Here's a better link for the original video. Sorry about the link in the first post.

3. Seems they left out
a few frames here and there.

Didn't the Pentagon admit after the release of the videos that they had done that sort of thing?

7. When I google "white flash" and explosion
Edited on Mon May-22-06 10:22 AM by mirandapriestly
I come up with links about white phosphorous (which the military uses as a smokescreen) and nuclear bombs. Just sayin....
Oh, and a few seconds before the whiteness, there is what looks like an orange flame on the left side of the screen which seems too far from the fireball to be related to that. Might be something else, I don't know.

6. Jet fuel doesn't flash it doesn't burn or explode hot
enough to create an instant white flash light. Fire ball yes, a flash of white light indicates a much higher temperature then jet fuel could even produce.

http://www.processassociates.com/process/heat/metcolor.htm

Max temp of hydrocarbon fire is about 1000 C. Not enough to produce this white light..

8. The shadows in that frame don't look consistent with a flash
coming from the direction of the building (or from any other direction for that matter).

Also, would a flash from an explosion turn the sky white like that?

It looks more like a frame that has the brightness turned way up.

9. I assumed that flash was a shockwave
What I wonder about is the secondary igition....second row far right picture. See the flame at the extreme left window of the Pentagon...it's only in that single frame. Is that fuel from the explosion traveling all the way downdown and exiting through the window? If so, why no other locations?

10. Good catch. There are pictures taken from south of the
impact zone that show that fire burning quite merrily, maybe 12 to 18 windows north
of the impact zone.

Can't find them right now. I wonder what office that was, and how we could find out?
You don't suppose it was the Office of Delbert Vreeland Affairs, or the Office of Missing
$2.3 Billion Accounting? Perhaps the Office of Pentagon Anti-Aircraft Defense Management?

11. Office of Missing $2.3 Billion Accounting
good one. That would be in the Missing $1 Trillion Dollar Wing of the Pentagon, I think.

12. Did I say $2.3 Billion? It was $2.3 TRILLION that Rumsfeld
announced that the Pentagon could not account for--on 9/10/01. Of course the story
got lost in subsequent events....

Why would the fuel travel so far?
