Correlation of the two Pentagon videos
Edited on Tue May-16-06 07:01 PM by dotcosm
Here is your comparison point for the two videos.

I'm fairly certain this car is the same car, shot from the two different perspectives.

You can use the time markers on the clips for reference, and to see whether it's possible to notice whether any frames (and if so, how many?) have been removed.

Not sure if it will be useful, but can't hurt.

edit to add the links to the videos:

1. The timer on the bottom has nothing to do with
actual time. (You may already know this but I just want to make sure you do.) It has to do with the start of the video. One was edited from a different point in real time. The video on the left is edited about a minute before the one on the right.

2. Yeah, I know
But it is still useful -- for example, if you synch the videos at the point where the security car enters, and assuming that both cameras are set to shoot the same frame rate, you can synchronize the rest of the video, for what that's worth.

3. Where's the clouds?
We can assume these two images are from the same point of time w/the car going through. So why does the first image show puffs of clouds in the sky & the second doesn't? Based on the angle, you should be aboe to see the same clouds in the second image as well, but it isn't there.

5. This is so dumb
Sorry, I don't mean what you are doing, but the stupid theater we were given today: a video that shows a fucking blurry nothing, again.

Where's the Sheraton tape? The CITGO? The highway? Surely other Pentagon surveillance cameras around the same parking lot? The heliport?

How about all the internal photos of debris? Jamie McIntyre claims to have a bunch for CNN, too.

Cut the bullshit and just release this stuff, man, get it over with.

6. I agree with you; check this out
http://www.flight77.info/

This is the site of a guy who has an FOIA request still pending for the other 84 tapes...

9. Did you just see McIntyre on CNN a few minutes ago?
He said the DoJ denies the existence of the Sheraton tape, or is "unaware" of its existence. :grr:

7. So Judical Watch says
"Finally, we hope that this video will put to rest the conspiracy theories involving American Airlines Flight 77. As always, our prayers remain with all those who suffered as a result of those murderous attacks."
:puke:
Some watchdog group. God I'm so sick of this.

8. This will make you feel better
I hate to keep pimping this site, but I was relieved to find that Judicial Watch wasn't our final word on the subject:

http://www.flight77.info/

From that site:

i think judicial watch takes all the credit in their single handed hard-working effort to obtain the same video we've been looking at for the last few years.

everyone knows that a missile hit the pentagon delivered by a space ship.

good work judicial watch!

just kidding!

now onto our second FOIA for the 84 other recordings (citgo and hotel video among others).

10. Photoshop Expert Here...
I did a little experiment using one frame from the old gas station stills and the corresponding
frame from the new stills released today. What I found was that the Pentagon perspective roof line was a dead-on
match with only a slight rotation to the left on the new shot ( these shots were the frames with the orange explosion bloom
consistent in both shots down to the specks of debris).

Everything lined up except for the immediate foreground - it is as if the same camera was used except the new shot
thrusts forward about 10-15 feet and eliminates the service station island there by giving an unobstructed view of the
speeding nosecone ( bullshit if this is 77) this object immediately smears out to a white streak identical to the old
still collection.

In my opinion this is a shockingly crude fake.

11. Are you saying it is a duplicate cropped version of the same tape? Or
Edited on Wed May-17-06 01:12 AM by rumpel
they just created a zoomed in dupe?

12. No, sorry misread your post. Still photo & video
I think both video's are missing a whole bunch of frames after the initial appearance of the plane.

It must have travelled at the same speed why can we identify it at first and then it gets into such a terrible blurr. Camera is stationary and fixed.

13. Refer to the photo in the original post
The camera for the closer shot seems to be in that structure adjacent to the driveway, just before the security gate. It's probably got a keycard access slot, and a video camera to capture the faces of the drivers who enter (although, considering the piss-poor job it did in this case, what good is it?)

Also, it is a wide-angle lens.

The other camera is located in or on the guard shack on the other side of the driveway. So, the distance between the two cameras is only a 20 feet or so.
