Enough of Ann Coulter, start answering the Jersey Girls questions!!
Is anyone else outraged at all the attention that Ann Coulter is getting for attacking the Jersey Girls? How is it possible that everyone is talking about what Ann Coulter wrote, and no one is talking about what the Jersey Girls have to say?

John Kerry wrote for Huffington post about how horrible it is that Ann is attacking them with the provocative headline “Shameless, but the Real Shame Is If We Don’t Act” No folks, he is not talking about acting on the very important issue of demanding answers to what the hell happened on to our air defenses on 9/11…he wants us to act by calling the media and telling them we don’t like Ann Coulter.

Instead of jumping in to defend them from this insignificant hateful warmonger, I bet the Jersey Girls would rather have people pay attention to what actually happened on 9/11 and
start answering their questions!

1. Was NORAD aware of the four hijacked planes veering off course even before being reported by the FAA? If not, please explain why NORAD, which monitors 7000 flights a day, was unable to track the four aberrant flights.

2. At precisely what time was NORAD notified of each plane being hijacked? What was their response?

3. Who determined from which bases the F-16s should be scrambled? Why were fighter jets scrambled from such distant bases such as Langley Base in Va. instead of Andrews Air Force Base, a mere 10 miles from the Pentagon? Who were the pilots of these F-16s?

4. Why weren’t the jets able to intercept the hijacked planes if they were airborne within eight minutes of notification? What was their airspeed?

5. It is reported that there were two F-15s off the coast of Long Island while Flights 11 and 175 were in the air. If there were indeed fighters off Long Island, why weren’t they diverted to investigate Flights 11 and 175? Were any other military planes flying routine missions on the morning of September 11th which could have responded?

6. Why did NORAD wait until after the second plane hit the WTC to try and prevent possible further attacks? Why weren’t the fighter jets that tailed flights 11 and 175 as they crashed into New York’s WTC, immediately rerouted to intercept flights 77 or 93, before they crashed into the Pentagon and Pennsylvania?

7. Why wasn’t the Pentagon defended?

8. Were surveillance satellites orbiting North American airspace on 9/11?

• What exactly does the satellite imaging reveal?
• What companies own these satellites?
• Where are the records and logs for these orbits?

9. Why were these four planes able to evade all radar? Even when the transponders are disconnected, a plane is still able to be located by its “skin” on radar screens.

10. In June 2001, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld modified NMCC response procedure in the event of a hijacking. Could this procedural change have slowed NORAD’s response time?

11. Who was directing the defense of our country that morning?

12. What defensive actions were ordered to protect our nation during the crisis?

There are many more questions and I think if we are going to defend the Jersey Girls we should start by demanding John Kerry and others look at the facts and start answering some questions about why they are ignoring the blatantly obvious."

1. KR...thanks for this
just another example of the M$M not doing their job, mooning around as the herdbots they are

they're HAPPY to ignore the points you bring forward, otherwise they'd have to do some actual WORK, instead of bloviate on one side or the other over the mental illness of a raving hydrophobic

2. ITA. It's amazing the LACK of CURIOSITY among our citizenry.
Maybe we need to get these questions into "People" or "The National Enquirer", for Americans to read and think about them.

5. Give Kerry a break
Edited on Fri Jun-09-06 05:37 PM by brazenlyliberal
For the past year and a half, he's had to listen to half the world bitching about how he screwed up by not responding forcefully and immediately to the Swift boat lies and other attacks during the 2004 campaign. Now, he's got to hear it from the other direction? Sheesh, talk about damned if you do/damned if you don't.

Wanting people to show support for the Jersey women isn't such a terrible thing. Just because he's calling for this action is absolutely no indicator that it's the only action he wants regarding 9/11. It's just the one he's talking about in this article.

7. Coulter has no guts...
Edited on Fri Jun-09-06 06:00 PM by skids
I hear people point out that the 9/11 victims sometimes push their "status" too far all the time. Liberal people. If Coulter is trying to be "gutsy" here she missed the bus by a year or two. Of course that's not the case, she's just throwing herself in front of a bullet for the right -- the right cannot make headway unless they can wrap themselves in the flag and claim exclusive ownership of it. Jersey Girls aren't cooperating, and that makes them mad. Coulter is out there doing damage control to keep the backwash from jumping ship.

Welcome to DU! :hi:

questioned''????????

by repeating the above GIGANTIC LIE, you surrender all credibility

from the FIRST MOMENT they dared question the powers that be, they've been VICIOUSLY and UNRELENTINGLY attacked by rabid freaks like Coulter and her friends (yours, perhaps?)

why do you repeat such obvious and transparent bullshit?

seriously

welcome to DU

enjoy your brief stay

and the rest of your post is equal horseshit, cause people HERE, unlike your stomping grounds, actually DO question their "leaders."

Clinton's handling of the economy, for one example, came under INTENSE debate here, with most agreeing that he caved in to the globalists, and surrendered our economic sovereignty to the corporatists that rule YOUR party just as much as they do the DLC/DNC captors of small 'd' democrats

nice try, though, squeeb

10. Why wasn't Ann Coulter upset with this woman?
Edited on Fri Jun-09-06 06:18 PM by DesertRat
This 9/11 widow was allowed to say and do whatever she wanted about George W. Bush w/o being questioned. You and Ann are hypocrites.

"Cheryl McGuinness is well-known in Stratham and around the Seacoast. She was left a widow, and her two children were left fatherless, when the airliner her husband, Tom McGuinness, was co-piloting, Flight 11 out of Logan International Airport, crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
So it was particularly stunning when McGuinness rose to take the podium at the Scamman farm on Friday in support of the re-election of George W. Bush as president.

"I am here for one reason and one reason only - to tell you why I support President George Bush," McGuinness told the crowd, which was estimated at 5,500.

The tragedy that befell her family on that terrible day, she said, is at the "heart of why I’m voting for George Bush," whom she characterized as a man of "character, courage and compassion."

12. You act as if there were only two choices:
1) shoot down the planes
2) do nothing.

There are always more than two choices.

Interception is not shooting down. Had the hijacked planes been intercepted,
communication could have been established with the pilots. Seeing their mission
was hopeless, they might have surrendered. Had the pilots refused to surrender,
shooting the planes down would have been justified and nobody could have
complained.

Until you have been faced with this type of situation you cannot begin to perceive....

Baloney. Off-course and hijacked aircraft are a standard situation with standard procedures
involved. FAA reports the situation to NORAD and NORAD scrambles planes to intercept the
problem. But on 9/11 standard procedures were not observed. FAA was slow to call NORAD and
the fighters flew straight out to sea. According to the Official Story FAA never did call
about flight 77 and 93, and at 10:45 after three hijacked planes had been flown into
buildings, FAA brass had to stand around dithering about whether to call NORAD about flight
93.

14. And compare that with the Paine Stewart incident
I found this at a CBC site, some comment from a viewer (cleaned up a little):

Remember Paine Stewart, the golfer? Back in, I think, 98 or so, his private plane flew off course over the northeastern United States.

Within minutes, the air force had located him and had fighter interceptors beside his plane. Paine's plane went down that day and he died.

Now look at 9/11. Ten minutes is the maximum amount of time the air force has to intercept a hijacked plane. After the first 2 planes were hijacked and flown into the trade towers, another hijacked plane was heading toward washington but it took 34 minutes to intercept. it should only have taken 10 minutes.

Thats 24 extra minutes to scramble jets to intercept a hijacked plane after 2 hijacked planes had already smashed into the towers. It ended up in side of the Pentagon.

And guess what happened to the guy that was in charge of the defences that day? Richard Myers was promoted to chairman of the joint chief of staff.

16. Except
That's not what happened with Payne Stewart's flight.

It was over one and one-half hours before the first fighters intercepted the Lear Jet. And those planes weren't alert aircraft that were scrambled from the ground, they were aircraft on normal training missions that were called to do the intercept.

Wherever you're coming up with these "10 minutes" statements, it's crap.

wasn't followed, that is what we would like to know. Not why they weren't "shot down".
