A new JibJab animation unveiled tonight

Forgive me if this is old news to y'all, but I just read that the JibJab boys are unveiling a new animation on Leno's show tonight and it will be available at their website thereafter. It is to the tune of "Dixie" and features the VP candidates, Ashcroft and others. I enjoyed "This Land is Your Land" so much, I felt I should pass this on. Again, I'm sorry if this is repeat info, I did a DU search and found nothing on it (which surprises me, and which is why I suspect everyone but me already knows about this, LOL).

5. Get read to get flamed

A lot of people here thought the first jib jab deal was straight outta karl rove's grand plan to savage kerry and the creators worked for the bush campaign and are "republican whores"as I remember some of the posts.

Personally, I thought the first one was enjoyable as well.

but I happen to have a whopping sense of humor, even about the side I'm working for. My Dem pals AND my Repub pals thought it was hilarious, so it's probably more balanced than some DUers give credit for. God, we need to learn to laugh at ourselves once in awhile!

But I always get a kick out of the reaction here. On Saturday night, there were dozens of posters swearing up and down that SNL producer Lorne Michaels was a lapdog for Bush. Totally ludicrous.

I saw the SNL threads. I can't get too harsh with those folks, though, because if we're paranoid on the left, surely it's because we've been made so by this misadministration. We really need to learn to pick our battles sometimes!

Esp with Clinton coming out and saying "Y'all should run together, 'cause more bush is always better" followed by getting decked by Hillary.

John/John had a cameo as a gay couple.

I found the first one to be really well done. I thought they ripped both sides pretty well (c'mon Bush as Dr Strangeglove was great!).

They had a really funny Arnold for Governor ad as well.

I liked "This Land" better, but this is funny.

Ashcroft ripping open his shirt and yelling, "I'm gay! I'M GAY!!!!" had me laughing out loud.
