Seven Lies Cheney Told During the Debate

Dick Cheney and John Edwards debated on Wednesday night.

Cheney said during the debate, "I have not suggested there is a connection between Iraq and 9/11."

Actually, On "Meet the Press" with Tim Russert on September 14, 2000, Cheney promoted the notion that hijacker Mohammed Atta met an Iraqi intelligence officer in Prague, Czech Republic.

This was long after the FBI found that Atta's phone and ATM records showed him to be in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the time.
