Headline should've been: Edwards Gets Cheney to Admit No Sadam - 9/11 Link

I think Edwards came at the old dinosaur so hard on his first response that it scared the old evil bastard and he folded like a deck of cards.

Here's how it went down:

1. Edwards first words Tuesday night--directly to Cheney were "Mr. Vice President, you are still not being straight with the American people." Then Edwards fills out his time.

2. Next--Cheney is up. Cheney blathers on about 'progress' in Iraq.

3. Edwards' next turn he says "Mr. Vice President, there is no connection between the attacks of September 11th and Saddam Hussein. The 9/11 Commission has said it. Your own secretary of state has said it. And you've gone around the country suggesting that there is some connection. There is not."

THEN BAM! Cheney says "I have not suggested there's a connection between Iraq and 9/11 . . ."


I say score that one for Edwards.
