These people are so out of touch and so criminal, the bunker thing has me a bit concerned. You know a hole in the wall of sorts for Outlaws in the cowboy days. Bush has the complication of a pin cushion but the PNAC and neo cons are a different matter and no one can protect him as he is being protected now forever. He gave up his secret service protection. He took the 400,000 instead.

Gore won..But he did not take office.? There is no doubt in my mind..Kerry has this thing won. The only concern, will he get in there?

1. Weirdly enough, I worry the same thing
The Chimperor has been quoted as saying he 'will win' this. He apparently cannot stand to lose.

2. The election may be stolen with BBV, but if Kerry is declared
the winner, Bush will leave.

3. It's because there seems to be no one stopping them and they get
away with so much that they just keep elevating the stuff they do.

then what do you think the damage will be? J's and K's missing from the WH keyboards?

And the neat thing is we get to make the charges of damage this time!!!!!!

Gotta get ready for that:

"Ok,let's see we'll need photos this time, better call some H'wood folks to set this up. Hmmmmm wonder if we can fake an "accident" by Barney on the Oval Office rug....."

5. I really am concerned about it, I think they took up residence
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 12:44 AM by vetwife
He said, "This would be a heck of a lot easier if this were a dictatorship just as long as I am the dictator and he said it Dec. 18,2000 in Washington. Paul O'Neill quoted it too in his book.
I keep thinking about that bunker and war crimes, and I don't think they are planning on leaving..PERIOD ! I do think Kerry will win. But that is why I keep saying Nov 3rd is going to be a wierd day ! They keep doing things, pushing the envelope like "You think voting your man in is gonna stop us" attitude. And then saying Mission from God, and doing God's work. This is beginning to concern me quite a bit. It won't be so simple as just a few keys missing. He has his hands on the war machine. Not to scare anyone but come on folks, he knows he is screwed and he doesn't seem worried or even acts like there is a possibility of leaving. He keeps talking about what he is gonna do in 2006.

7. Look, I really don't think the other Repugs will let him do that
Because of the tradition of voting in this country (and remember it extends down to the lowest political level, ie Town Council), the other members of the GOP would NOT allow Bush to try and seize dictatorial power....it would mean the end of the GOP as a functioning party.

Plus, when you join the armed services you swear an oath to the Constitution, not to one person. As much as some here might not like to hear this, folks in the US Military are very pro-Constitution.

When Nixon was getting ready to resign, James Schlesinger the SecOfDef at the time issued orders to have ANY military commander check with him BEFORE carrying out any order they got from Ol'Tricky Dick. Now Schlesinger is as a rabid GOP'er as they come, but still he knew where the true power of this country lay.

Without force of arms, without any military backup, Bush is powerless to stay in the WH after Jan 21, 2005. At that point, if he does try something, a GD traffic cop could go in and drag his sorry ass out on the sidewalk.

Sorry, I don't see it happening....he'll go back to Crawford and plot his (or Jeb's) return to power in 2008.
