1. Fabulous site! needs button to raise taxes, tho
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 06:20 AM by oscar111
i can balance it quite easily raising taxes only on the yacht class. But no button at the site.

Is the site run by a RW?

4B ends homelessness

12 B $ ends all hunger

I think the O3 tax cut was 270 B dollars, more than enought to pay to end all homelessnes and hunger.

restore that tax, and we can do it all.

US wealth totals 105 Trillion, 25 if you dont forgive debts and have to pay liabilities.. line twenty. But the gov can forgive debts, as the World Bank oft does to poor nations. See bottom line 33 for all wealth added up....>

for official wealth statement, no less!

Now go to each site, and see how to end all our social problems.

2. Oops!
That's my favorite. If you generate a surplus, it acts as though you've done something wrong! No wonder the Bush Administration ran up such a huge deficit -- they think they're winning the game!

It is an interesting exercise, though. The only way I could balance the budget in the short term was to make cuts that I know wouldn't be politically possible. The watchword for the next administration is "patience." It will take us four years of fiscal discipline to make a dent in the Reagan-Bush-Bush deficits, but it can be done.
