John Kerry has EARNED my vote...
I know all of us will be voting for JK for a wide variety of different reasons. When the whole primary season began, I was ABB 100%. I had no clear choice of who I wanted to be our next President (However, I was leaning to Graham). The Democrats could have nominated a desk lamp, and it would have happily gotten my vote. Yet, over the last few months, John Kerry has been earning my vote and the votes of many, many others. I may not agree with him on everything, but I trust this man to LEAD our nation (Something that the Bush administration does not know how to do). I know that there are some out there that are still ABB as there prime reason for voting Kerry into office and that's fine. All I know is that I will go into that booth with a clear satisfaction when I vote for John Kerry.

3. I know, it's a wonderful feeling to believe in a candidate. I hadn't felt
that way since March. Canvassing is much easier when you truly think a change is in the air. :hi:

5. Do you regret the stance he's taking?
Or the increasing likelihood that he will beat Bush?

8. Was I not clear?
I support his current stance (same as Dean's) but regret Kerry has not apologized to Dean for slamming Dean for taking this current stance the whole time.

Is that clear now?

10. He has worked incredibly hard
I think he has laid the ground work for some great turnout in the contested states. The networks are going to be very surprised.

Though, as you've said, Kerry is not everything I would want him to be, I have been very pleased with his work ethic and smarts, even way before the debates. He's done us proud, and has certainly stepped up to the responsibility of having the hopes of the free world (and that part of the US with brains) riding on him.

11. Mine too
I am amazed at this guy's performance and record, and I am further amazed at my bad judgement for not considering him during the primary season.

There were so many good candidates to choose from, but, in retrospect, he was clearly the best choice.

12. Mine too, and here's why
1). With the mess Bush has made of things, for anyone to WANT the job speaks volumes about them. The "clean-up" that Kerry is signing up for is staggering.

2). He may have been a bit slow or delayed on the uptake re: the Swift Boat crap, but he reached a boiling point and has stood his ground, unshakable, for AT LEAST the last month and a half. When he "attacks" Bush, it is never trivial or cheap personal shots, it is a direct indictment of his record. He kept his promise to "steer his boat into the attack" and he has not altered his position since making that statement.

3). I do understand what a "photo op" is, but when you look at some of the more candid shots of him on the campaign trail, he seems to GENUINELY care about people. He seems to want to listen to them. He seems interested in making their lives better, as opposed to George W. Bush, who is interested in George W. Bush. That's it.

13. I feel exactly the same way
I've gone from ABB right before the DNC's very last night all the way to 100% pro-Kerry and, take my word for it, I'm not easy to convince about anything. Since I know how incredibly stubborn I am, I can truly appreciate Senator Kerry's accomplishment in turning me from a negative, semi-supportive outlook to a very impressed, positive one.
:wow:

I actually see a bright future for this country, again. :toast:
