Why is Imus "freaking" about having Charlie Gibson as moderator?
He's practically begging for Russert to be able to "host a debate".

The audience is the one asking the questions (pre-screened of course). I can't see a moderator having much affect in this format.

Maybe Imus is testing out a "new set of GE kneepads".

1. He Actually Said Brett Hume would be the best moderator
Imus keeps showing his repuke feathers.. as if we don't know what he's up to.

He really must think his viewers are THAT stupid.

4. Lets see...
Imus, Tweety, Scarbourough, Noonan, Coulter, O'Reilly, Hannity...the list goes on. What do they have in common?

A really convincing case can be made that a boatload of Americans get their news and opinion from people who apparently have significent personality disorders.

Surprisingly, that fact doesn't make me sleep better at night.

8. He wants BRIT HUME?
That settles it, he's definitely a Repuke. No Kerry supporter would even entertain the notion of Hume being a moderator.

2. Britt Hume and Tim Russert will never host a debate
Hume is far too partisan (the Dems would veto it) and neither side wants to go up against Russert.

3. Russert wasn't hard on repugs "pre war"... he was a damn cheerleader
it was disgusting.

BTW...will GE ever tell us how much money they made from the war ?

6. When he was drooling over Brit Hume
I lost it! I just emailed him and told him to read David Brock's book, "Blinded by the Right" and learn something about Hume. He's part of the Richard Mellon Scaife VAST RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY against President Bill Clinton. IMUS needs to get a clue if he's going to spout off about his right wing idols.

You can email him at: imus@msnbc.com

7. I wanna know what he's smoking
to think BRIT HUME is the most respected newsman on TV... This guy is the most biased newsreader in television history! Has Imus not seem Hume battle with Juan Williams? Does he not see Hume's 'Grapevine' cherry-picking of every negative story related to Democrats, completely ignoring negative reports on Republicans? I don't know where Imus is getting this nonsense.

9. He's a repuke
that's why he likes Fox, calls Hume credible, loves Russert, etc.

It doesn't change the fact that he's got a ton of listeners and has been ragging on the Bush regime. That's why I watch, to see what the message is that he's sending to his Bush supporter listeners. He's been harder on Bush lately than he has been on Kerry.

12. Why do people insist on listening to that loser (Imus)?
Honestly. He says whatever is expedient or semi-controversial at the moment. That washed up, never was hack should go back to spinning records and playing wacky "BOOOING!" sounds in between.
