I can't believe it - I think Kerry is winning the expectations game again. |
|
This is Bush's strength, connecting with people.
Kerry will have a hard time connecting with people.
All the pundits give the advantage to Bush tonight.
Sweet!

1. They are idiots. Kerry WON Iowa with his numerous town hall meetings. |
|
It was that exposure to Kerry that helped people decide to vote for him in the primary.

3. I know and Bush's events are all staged BS. I'm kind of shocked about |
|
how everyone is viewing tonight's debate but I think it is to our advantage.

6. Punditry Spin is SOOOO to our advantage - Let them keep it up |
|
Everytime they say that this is Bush's forte and that Kerry can't relate to people I think about the town halls I've seen Kerry do. . .
The punditry will be surprised, just like when they said
Kerry is not up to the task of making a great acceptance speech. Kerry is boring and long-winded and will lose the first debate.
So let them build Bush up. . .

2. And add to that the general feeling that Bush has to hit a GRAND SLAM... |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 08:16 AM by CarolynEC
... not just do well, not just make a good showing... Bush has got to have a decisive win over JK to reverse the slide.
Anything short of that, and Bush fails tonight.
And the chances of him doing that, of hitting a grand slam... well. You can be the judge of that! :D

5. and half of the debate is on economic and other domestic issues. |
|
Remember when Cheney was asked about jobs and all he talked about was NCLB? Their domestic record is atrocious.

I can't see how Kerry will survive that debate, it will be a desaster. Bush, the great communicator, will crush him. It won't be even close, I think Kerry will leave the stage after 45 mins because he's so bad at it, he just can't connect. On the other side, I'd really like to have a beer with Bush...preferably right after the whole world declared war on the US and I got drafted.
