Kerry Should Take The High Road Tonight.... |
|
Chimpy is going to be loaded for bear tonight... LOL @Me... A monkey loaded for bear...
Seriously, expect Chimpy to be throwing out the one liners his handlers have drummed into him since the last debate....
I expect Kerry to say something like the American people are concerned about Iraq, are concerned about their health care, are concerned about their jobs, are concerned about terrorism but they aren't concerned about personal insults.... This is a serious time and serious times demands serious leaders.....

1. Kerry needs to be what he was in the first debate---himself |
|
Bush was straining all night like trying to get out a particularly painful bowel movement. Kerry just unloaded the facts. I believe a tactic they are going to use tonight is to say that Kerry is so pessimistic. It's the beautiful opportunity for Kerry to say the best theme he has going for him---i.e., that there Bush goes again in denial about what is going on around him. That applies not only to Iraq, it applies when Bush starts pulling this same shit about the economy, healthcare, etc. In other words, Bush makes no attempt to deal with these problems because he lives in a La La Land and doesn't even recognize they exist.

...I'd work in a statement to the effect, "Mr. President, all Americans honor your service as President, but your policies have failed. It isn't because you didn't work hard. You did - as you reminded us in the first debate. It's simply because they are the wrong policies for America. Your promise for more of the same in a second term will NOT solve America's problems."
Hmmmm...

6. Sen. Kerry will likely have to spend most of the debate on Bush's lies |
|
that Bush will replay over and over like Cheney did with Edwards. They will be blatant, exagerated and there will be ALOT of them. Sen. Edwards, imho, was caught off guard by Cheney's blatantness for for first 1/3 of his debate. Sen. Kerry shouldn't be caught off guard.
I think it will be very tough to take any high-road with Bush slinging dung everywhere.
