Where's the best place to contribute money for the 2004 election?

Is it an independent organization lke MoveOn.org or America Coming Together? Or to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (is there really hope of taking back the House?). Or directly to Kerry's campaign? Any others?

Which organization is in the most need, and where will additional money, give right now, have the biggest impact on stopping the Republicans?

I'm interested in insights and, if you have it, some evidence. Although I've given to several of the above mentioned groups, I'm looking to drop some more cash on a worthwhile cause.

1. You might consider donating something to Kids For Kerry

Ilana Wexler, the 12 year old girl who made the prime time convention speech that Cheney needs a "time out" is raising money to support a swing state tour to do media.

Kids For Kerry's message is that while kids can't vote yet, they still have a voice, and John Kerry supports issues that are important to kids like health care, education, the environment and peace.

She is very good at doing media and the message resonates with people.
