3. Sad.....
What a mess....

For us

For the British who I like as people and stalwart allies

(and)

the Iraqi people...

Saddam was evil but we had him in a box... Maintaining the sanctions and the no fly zones was hard work but invasion and occupation weren't the answer.... Didn't they know nobody likes to be occupied.....

2. I live in his home city , Liverpool .
And as a fellow 'Scouser' , I'm devastated for his family . They have tried everything possible including sending petitions to Tony Blair and enlisting our local paper to keep this in the news .

My deepest condolences go out to his family .

4. This never should have happened, but giving into demands was not possible.
Blair has cast his lot with Bush, and besides, never EVER give into terrorist demands, either foreign or domestic, because you simply encourage more of the same behavior.

6. It's A Mess...
My girlfriend is a Filipina...

The Phillipines caved....

You should never negotiate at the barrel of a gun but Britain should have never been in this predicament nor should the Phillipines have had....

I saw this on Freerepulsive.com......in a thread about the news of the british beheading......

Too bad it wasn't John Kerry.

I'm not a cold hearted person by nature however it would be more fitting for John Kerry to have this fate considering all the lies he told about honorable men in Viet Nam and Kerry also ADMITTED to doing these atrocities. I never understood WHY he was NOT charged with war crimes or something to that nature.
