Does he think it makes him look more "personable?"
Do people "relate" to looking like a stupid monkey?
How's it going to work for him tonight?

8. I read somewhere after that last debate....
to explain his poor posture, that he hunches over the podium to "reach out to his audience". Or some such horse crap.

11. But his shoulders are up to his ears!

Kerry leans forward without his shoulders hiking up or his head dipping foward.

But if "reaching out" is why Chimp does it, I hope he works reeeeally hard at "reaching out" this evening. :)

30. 'reach out'?
Yeah, it's crap. For three and a half years, I've watched this monkey slouching over a podium and it still pisses me off. It's disgraceful, disrespectful, and so NOT WORTHY of the dignity of the office he stole.

To me, the podium slump is a subtle way he tries to show his superiority over his audience - it's like he's saying he's too good to stand up straight for the proles. It's nauseating.

Usually, Bush has good "alpha male" bodylanguage. It's how he projects confidence.

Interesting to see him becoming more "beta."
