John Kerry and John Edwards reclaim the Electoral Advantage
In the most recent round of state polls, the Kerry/Edwards ticket
has reclaimed the lead in the Electoral College, 277 to 257. New
Hampshire remains tied so 4 votes remain unclaimed.
Here are the states that are now polling in Kerry's favor:
California, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, Minnesota, Iowa,
Illinois, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Vermont,
Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware
Maryland and the District of Columbia
The turn came yesterday as a new poll by the American
Research Group flipped Florida for Kerry, 47% to 45%.
Additionally, a new Pennsylvania poll shows a strong lead by
Kerry with 50% to 43%.
Kerry can win the election by carrying either Ohio or Florida as
long as he claims nearly all of the 2000 "Gore" states. Note thatWisconsin, a blue
state in 2000, is the only remaining Blue state that is still polling in Bush's favor. Even
without Wisconsin, Kerry
wins with either Florida or Ohio.
On the other hand, Bush must claim both Ohio and Florida in
order to win if all Blue states remain in Kerry's corner...

1. The inevitable sign of victory
Looking more like Clinton/Dole every day except Clinton's was a yawner with less turnout. Bush can and must dig a deeper hole every day.

3. Washington Dispatch is a wingnut paper.
It doesn't even rise to the Moonie Times' level of objectivity.

5. If they are it would be hard to tell from their cover stories.
The first of which is an article speculating that Bush was wearing an earpiece, was having responses read to him and his stumbling over his answers was based on having to keep up with the person feeding him the answers (during the debates, my girlfriend who was not interested in watching the debates pointed out "what is that little thing in Bush's ear" while I had not noticed it until then".)

Other articles:

Zogby shows Kerry Gains.

Electoral College Tightens

Bill O'Reilly Unwilling to Admit Defeat, Faux News Fabricates Story.

They do not seem wing-nut at all, or no more wing nut than Michael Moore, or Air America, in fact lessso, asmist of their articles of this anture seem to be reporting on information backed by reliable pollsters, except for their editorial and op-ed pieces which seem to be slanted to the democrats.

They also seem to get their information from a balanced number of sources, using sources that are deemed to be liberal, such as the Washington Post, as well as conservative sources such as the Washington Times.

So far, the materials about the election an in particular the ideosyncracies of the polls this go round seem to be extremely balanced. They were tbhe first to predict that Kerry would see a come back due to the fact that many of the polls done by the media were slanted due to oversampling of Republicans. They noted this before Zogby did.

I do not think "wing nut" is an accurate representation of this source.

I had no knowledge of this source before doing recent research on the current campaign. but the research I did do inevitably indicated that within days, most major storiesreported in thie source were picked up and carried, reporting with the same slant as this source, in the major media.

They seem to have the jump in the major media, and a few days ago predicted the same results that todays Time/CNN report came up with. Todays Time/CNN poll indicated a big surge for Kerry among women, even Security Moms, as well as this poll revealing Kerry as more likable than Bush (for the first time in any poll, I might add) Washington Dispatch articles indicated that we should expect this to occur well before the first debate.

4. I think Wisconsin will go for Kerry
There is a lot more Kerry support around Eau Claire, (north-western Wisconsin), than there was Gore support the last time around.

There are giant Bush signs, but there are a lot of smaller Kerry signs.

The polls are wrong if they are guessing Bush is ahead in this state.
