Or werkin' hard?

I think he'll either avoid it....or attack it head on by making a joke out of it or by referencing the fact that so many of the other side are making fun of all the good people who are werkin' hard to protect our country from ter'rists.

So....watcha think? Or will there by another clever soundbite?

1. He'll use it.
It was obvious that he's been using this verbage behind the scenes. He did say it 11 times during the first debate. We'll also hear a lot of "the economy is strong and getting stronger".

7. He'll try and make a joke of it
Like he has done since on his stump speeches .

'Look folks , I can poke fun at myself . Aren't I amusing ? ' . Aside to Karl , 'That's got to be worth some votes . Did I do good ?'

3. I think he'll avoid it
BUT he may slip. Anyway its funny that a president who logged more vacation days than any other and during a time of war could have the audacity to suggest he knows anything about hard work.

4. He might use it on accident
He's probably been coached to death on all his fuck-ups from last week, and has been told that the pinched-face 'hard work' whine is a no-no.

8. I'd love for Kerry to turn to him in the most serious of tone and say
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 02:09 PM by Catfight
,"Mr. Bush, you have made light of missing WMD's and now you are making light of the prestige of the Oval Office by mocking the job of the President. I speak for myself, but I fail to find your humor at the expense of American lives, funny, and I would appreciate you take this debate seriously so that Americans can make an educated decision on who is best fit to lead this nation!"

and watch the incredible shrinking president.

9. He will joke about it...
and accidently say it too. If you listen to a few of his
speeches, you will find that he uses the phrase a lot,
like another one of his favorite words "love".

I think it is a habit he has picked up for when he can't
think of a better word (or any word). An old habit that
will be too hard for him to break.
