This F9/11 thing is STILL helping us, and will be a factor in November. |
|
A coworker of mine who is your typical blind flag-waving "USA" chanting Freeper, rented F9/11 last night. According to what she told me, she figured it wouldn't change her mind about anything.
Well, today, she comes back to me raving about the corruption of the BFEE and how she didn't know all this stuff. A quote from her: "Here we were attacked on 9/11, and Bush and Company invaded a country whose people weren't involved in terrorism against us. I never knew that, and wouldn't have backed the war if I did."
Now, she's still not comfortable with the idea of voting for Kerry, but I've been feeding her articles about the BCCI investigation and Kerry's anti-war activities since this morning. I also recommeded that she see "Outfoxed".
Things are changing folks! With all our efforts, and the help that Michael Moore has given, and continues to give us, we stand an EXCELLENT chance of winning our country back! Let's all try to get more people to see F9/11.

1. I just purchased TWO copies... |
|
one for myself, and one to donate to my local library (wonder if they'll take it, seeing as how it's "rated R"?). The deleted scenes had me crying again... this movie is fucking POWERFUL. And that's a WONDERFUL story... can't wait to hear more like it!

2. I just watched it last night |
|
and I couldn't believe the extra footage of the prisoners being released from Abu Graib (sorry for spelling). I was crying from the extras before I even got around to starting the movie.

3. THAT'S the scene that got to me the most as well... |
|
just SHOCKING how we're treating people that have done NOTHING... I really think that that should be one of our priorities once Kerry gets in... clean up the situation in those prisons we're managing. What better way to try to start showing the Iraqi people that we DO care, and we want to try and fix what Bush has so callously fucked up over there... truly a way to "win hearts and minds" perhaps?
