2. He blew it last week on PURPOSE!
Just so Kerry would let his guard down. I feel sorry for Kerry. Bush is still a Master Debater. He can't possibly loose again!

7. I dont think kerry has lost before either
and bush obviously has weakeness' ie: the mention of his father seems to get him riled up. After being so profoundly shektered from real people and real questions I think he has another night of sweat and panic in front of him.

8. He did in fact loose last week, but he did it on purpose so that
he could show everyone his TRUE skill tonight, by closing in from behind.

10. God-like in his pronouncements
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 02:46 PM by maine_raptor
His debating skills are studied far and wide. His clear calm manner of answering tough questions and making the complex simple are examples that will live thru time.

Is that ok? Does it fore fill the required, mandatory "raise the expectations for Bush" pre-debate post thing?

Can I go now?

:boring:

12. Bush has been continuously training...
... with a Shaolin debate master in the Naga Hills.... he can split ten feet of solid rock with his witty retorts... Kerry does not stand a chance tonight, he will be vaporzied and all that will be left of him will be a pair of smoking Gucci loafers...

16. Who are Plato, Aristotle and Socrates
compared to the mighty oratorical skills of George W. Bush?

Mere amateurs, I say. Not even the most skilled orator possesses the skills that Mr. Bush has honed since infancy and perfected through his faithful and successful attendance at such an acclaimed institution as Yale University.

How dare a lowly Senator from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts even pretend to be in the same league! Sure, they may share a patrician lineage and a patrician education. But the comparisons end there!

Where one is industrious and boringly intellectual, the other is charming, folksy, humorous and, as importantly, oratorically gifted beyond compare.

If only Plato, Aristotle and Socrates were alive to witness their "student" showcase the skills that even they would envy!

Tonight there will be a "special guest" at the debate, God will appear to say..."Shrub is an idiot." Vote for Kerry or die.

20. I hate to nitpick, but it's "lose" (we don't want to look ignorant, right?
As in "Kerry was lucky not to lose the debate last week, since Bush is Master of the Debating Universe!"

Or: Did I lose my keys? This baseball team will lose against that baseball team. (ok, I'm not up on sports)

Rather than: I put my loose change on the bedside table. The chair leg was loose and wobbly.

(/teacher mode off. Ask me about it's/its, there/they're/their and here/hear!)

Good luck tonight Mr. Kerry, you will certainly need it when facing such a formidable opponent!
