Osama might be in Saudi Arabia
hidden by his extended family. I mean, how hard should it be to find a guy 6'8", dressed in white, who needs dialysis? Someone has to be hiding him. He wouldn't be able to survive in the mountains with no help.

A friend of mine familiar with the Middle East told me he could be in Saudi Arabia - that nothing in Saudi Arabia is what it seems to be.

That would be intersting.

3. I don't know.
Maybe there never was an Osama. Maybe it was just a little guy walking around on stilts with a recording for a voice.

15. Bin Laden, Mr. Solomon
Is in the upper Swat River valley, in the northeast of Pakistan, on the Kashmir border. Depend upon it. This is the true heartland of jihadi sentiment in the area, and is wholly under the control of militants dedicated to the struggle in Kashmir, support of which was the principal al'Queda activity in the days of the Taliban. The proposition he is in the tribal areas is simply a pretext for Musharref to seek to extend central government control into those places, a thing which has been for decades a leading desire of the Pakistani state.

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

4. REally..
wouldn't surprise me here. Come on, after all the Bushies are very well connected with the Saudi royals--that should speak volumes there.

10. Proof?
Osama bin Laden has denied that he has kidney problems. Is there any proof that he does? The last time GW Bush was asked about him the reply was that he didn't know where he was and didn't care and that it was not important. Damn! I should've saved that quote.

The US doesn't want to capture him or kill him. It would only increase the number of members for al Q. Think about that for a few minutes.

13. The Bush quote (Google is your friend)
http://www.buzzflash.com/contributors/2002/11/13_Laden.html
with contrasting quote from all of 2 1/2 months before:
"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county . Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...."
- Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool,
The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on
official White House site

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

Nothing is as it appears in Saudi Arabia has to be the understatement of the century!

It's no wonder the bush's are such great pals with the Saudis.

11. How about a mansion in Indonesia?

He could be comfortably ensconced in a safe house in the Indonesian jungles where we will never, ever find him.

20. Thats one hell of a hike & swim....
Looking at the map, if this were true he would need to make it to the Arabian Sea (about 800 mi. from where they "think" he is in Tora Bora region). Then he would have to get a boat and trek another 800-1000 mi through the Straits of Hormuz which we have blockaded. If he managed to get that far and past the American patrols he would still be at least another 200 mi by boat before reaching Saudi Arabia.

All in all, I would say that is about a 2000 mi trip and a very risky one at that.

Naaa, I would hide out in the mountains like Eric Rudolph did here in the US for 5 years, wait for Bush's policies to put the region in civil war, then move where I wanted to go among all the chaos.

just my 2cents
