Kerry has to work this line in somewhere
When Bush starts taking credit for something he did not do, Kerry has to respond "That's like the rooster taking credit for the sunrise" I saw a CNN debate clip show a few weeks ago and it showed Kerry using that line against Weld in 1996 I think. It seemed very effective, almost folksy. The type you'd expect Bush or Reagan to use.

1. especially effective
since bush is so "cocky" and I really mean no pun but he does come off like a bantam rooster.

Not that I, in NJ, know anything about bantam roosters but that's how I imagine a bantam rooster coming off. Shaking his head in that stupid way and going "heh" and snorting through his beak all the time.
