The new JibJab animation is just incredibly stupid

I went over there yesterday and saw "Good to Be in D.C.", the latest JibJab animation.

It's not funny, it's really stupid.

"This Land" was kinda cute in a stunted kind of way, but "Good to Be in D.C." isn't.

Hard to believe these guys are an internet "sensation". You can be immature and politically incorrect and still manage to make intelligent people laugh (Southpark, the Onion), but these guys just aren't pulling it off.

Just saw Blitzer on CNN say this. You can watch it on their website for free, but if you want to download it be ready to cough up 3 bucks. Ack! Capitalist Pigs!!!

10. I enjoyed the first one

and thought this one was kinda stupid. I can see why some would consider this homophobic. The whole thing was about DC being gay. I do think they're creative though. The animation was well done.


Either way, I think their 15 seconds of fame is about to end...and while I originally figured they're nonpartisan, I saw their tee shirts and they insulted Kerry a lot more. Kerry was shown as a hotdog, while Bush is a lovable cowboy. The shirt that annoyed me the most is the one with Kim Jong Il, Khatami, and Saddam holding a Kerry Edwards sign.
