Did they lie about the unemployment numbers today....

Because they are the last ones before election. Someone posted some government figures that showed unemployment had increased by 2 million people since July ? Are those numbers legit?? It they are, they have intentionally lied about it for political purposes... Which is true?

But notice that they revised down the numbers from last month. Last month, they wanted the best possible numbers to harp on around the convention. This month, they will report the best numbers they can to help the pre-election spin. The next numbers won't come out till after the election.

The strategy: present the best numbers that they can get away with, and worry about reality later.

I guarantee you that the numbers will be revised downward in the next report.
