position on mini-nukes?
John Kerry last night spoke out against building "useable" mini-nuclear bombs, as Congress authorized last year.

What is the position of other candidates?

Has Wesely Clark addressed this?

1. With all due respect, Eric...
... have you tried going to any of the campaign's websites, and researching the positions there? All of their addresses are on the DU main page. :)

3. The harm in asking here first

is that someone may post a quote, or a vote, or other indication that the candidate in question (or any of his opponents) has a position on the issue at hand that some of the candidate's supporters would prefer not be discussed. :)

4. There's no HARM in it, of course.
Just, ummm.... like asking others to do your research for you, I suppose.

6. Clark is opposed to them.
In the TH meeting at Exeter School in NH he was asked about this.

This isn't an exact transcript, just from someone's memory.

Interesting question was asked about mini-nukes. While he went out of his way to say he'd love to talk to the scientists & physicists who are developing these small nuclear weapons, he said he finds it hard to imagine why they are really needed. He also said that, as he fully supports the Nuclear Test Ban he's not sure how these guys are ever going to test this weaponry. this with a wry smile.
