I think he's doing a wonderful job of presenting rational, coherent and truthful responses.

Bush is a lying sack of shit, but he's delivering his garbage in a folksy good ole' boy manner that has always worked well for his constituency. It makes ME puke, but it's effective with large segments of American anti-intellectuals.

So it's a battle of styles and both men are doing well in their own way. Last time Bush was shaking the confidence of his faithful, but this time he's deliverying what they want.

I see a tie in terms of effectiveness -- which is not to be confused with rational victory.
