5. Well, I suppose I see the point ...

Shrub's supporters are attracted to idiots. Therefore, by being a blatant idiot, Bush is holding his base.

2. No he is not. There is more to winning a debate than sounding brash

4. I most regretfully agree
He's spewing all the garbage and lies that he always spouts, but he's doing so with his trademark folksy arrogance. It's an act that has worked for him very well.

Kerry is beating him on rationality, but I'm not sure that holds any appeal to large segments of American culture.

9. Kerry kicked the CRAP out of Bush a COUPLE of times
on foreign policy, and is absolutely DESTROYING HIM through and through on domestic policy.

11. Good Point
Remember that the press declared Bush the winner in the debate with Gore in 2000. It was so blatantly false that it made me want to vomit, but we're dealing with some complete morons here.

12. Exactly, like Cheney/Edwards debate
Cheney lied his ass off and the pundits couldn't wait to all him a winner. Cheney didn't win, he lost! How many pundits said that?
Even if you want to call Cheney/Edwards debate a draw, that would be a victory for Edwards. I mean, afterall, how could a newbie Senator, even begin to hold his own against, the wise all knowing experienced genius? He can't and if he does - it is a VICTORY?

So, barring Bush falling flat on his face - literally- Bush will be proclaimed winner.
