Gibson was fine. No damage. Upset when Bush kirked. |
|
What a relief. Now Bush can meet Mr. Schiefer, the guy he tried to bump as a moderator

2. Well, let's see, Schieffer is smart and he's been around...you bet! |
|
He is also a Southern gentleman so we'll never know he did it until Bush falls on his face.

4. you mean the guy whose brother was Bush's business partner.... |
|
the ambassador to Australia?
that guy?
it's amazing that every moderator has anti-dem baggage, the kind that, if the situation were reveresed, would have NO chance of being on
he may 'try' to be objective, but I've seen enough of him to know that he THINKS he's objective, and being basically slightly liberal himself, bends over backwards in an attempt to be nonpartisan, just as almost all the socalled liberal media do.
he reveals himself to be unconsciously supportive of things like the amazing view of Bush as personable, affable, etc., when it's obvious to all here that he's just a rich, spoiled, do-nothing, petulant, lazy, ignorant, mendacious LOSER?
what else did I miss

6. Jim Leher does NOT have "anti-Dem" baggage! |
|
Also, I watch him on Sundays because he is much more objective than Timmy the whore Russert!

7. guess you don't watch his show much, do you? |
|
OR the debates in 2000 when he asked Bush what was the deal with Gore's problem as an exaggerator?
he's been HORRIBLE lately on his show, going to great lengths to let pugs come back and get equal time from one show, then refuse the same opportunity for dems
the show was also pathetic in its deference to John ONeill

8. Yeah, he did a good job |
|
The decision to start with that "wishywashy" question kind of freaked me out, but after that he did pretty good.
He was much better than Gwen Ifill.

10. Looking back, I agree |
|
But I have to say when it came up, I said "here we go again" and expected a freep-fest for the whole debate. That didn't happen, of course.
