1. Problem is ...

If Kerry got into that, he'd open himself up to the same kind of criticism that hurt Gore ... being too "intellectual." The sheeple want black and white, right and wrong, yes and no. Unfortunately, this is Shrub's strongest area. He can't think complexly, so non-complex answers come out naturally.

Kerry can, but if he expressed it on this issue more fully, a lot of eyes would glaze over.
