Olberman's final score: Kerry 20, Bush 2 |
|
Kerry had only 1 round scored -1; Bush had 2 scored -2, 4 scored -1. Kerry won 12 rounds, Bush won 4, with 3 drawn.

5. Yeah, honestly I think Kerry won |
|
You've got both MSNBC and CNN trying to claim Bush won again...
no way. I think Kerry made some mistakes but the facts are too bold on Bush's record and then yelling at the moderator, to me, that was it, over.

I thought * did better than last week but he did not win tonight. I agree with Keith's analysis.

9. That Isn't Saying Much!! |
|
so Bush did better than last week...that isn't saying much, considering that I cannot fathom how ANYONE could possibly do WORSE than Bush did last week! Even BUSH couldn't top (or is it bottom??) last week's performance!!
So, the best thing you can say about Bush's performance tonight is that he did better than last week. Well, that isn't saying much...

11. That about the best thing I can say |
|
I thought he was rude. He yelled at the questioners and looked very defensive for the most part. And the lies! He used the same talking points I've heard so many tmes they give me a headache. Talk about an empty suit!

Earlier on Kerry won 19-2.
Oldermann has added and subtracted "supplemental points" making the score:
Kerry 15 Bush 12
This is what Oldermann calls a "statistical draw", I call it bullshit.

17. He's making fun of the way the media spins it afterward. |
|
Hence the term "supplemental points". Bush got into the crowd and got pictures taken. Thats what REALLY matters to the American people.

19. I think that's the result of editors and overseers |
|
Did you hear his rationale? Bush went out to the crowds first? That constitutes a 10 point swing? I think Keith was following some orders there.

20. I was in a noisy bar and couldn't hear a lot of the answers, but I |
|
was disappointed in Kerry's environmental answer. There were so many venues to hit Bush with and it appeared that he didn't go for the jugular.
