OK, I don't know what anyone else thinks about the debate
But I think that Kerry won hands down, both in terms of style and substance. I think all the talking heads cheering for bush are full of shit, as they normally are. Go KE!

1. It all depends
If you are susceptible to empty macho posturing, Bush is your man. If you want guts and substance, go with Kerry. I think people are smelling what empty macho posturing is really made of ... and how badly it smells on a warm summer day.

Bush is toast.

4. empty macho posturing
Exactly. They responded to it with Cheney too. What the hell is that about anyway? Bush was a bullying ass.

3. I am a skeptic, and try to be honest
but I thought Kerry TOTALLY KICKED ASS!!! I listened to 50% on the radio and am pretty sloshed now, but I though Kerry ROCKED and George Jr. was meciocre.

Big Kerry win in my opinion. I have NO PROBLEM honestly voting for him on all the online polls.

Way to go. YOU ROCK Kerry!

6. I'm the same
I woulden't be smiling so much if I thought Kerry didn't win. The only thing i'm worrying about, again, is what effect the GOP spinmeisters will have on public opinion. If it's anything like last time, I think we'll see an widening kerry lead in the next few days.

5. Kerry smoked the lil' tyrant.
His answers were articulate, to the point, respectful of the questioner. Lil' George almost had a temper tantrum when he thought he wasn't going to have a chance to respond to something Kerry had said. Further, he dodged the 3 mistakes question clumsily. What a clod.

Anyone with 5 functioning brain cells knows who won - if they are honest with themselves.

GO KERRY!

7. Woo hoooo
I'm glad you agree. I have to admit that I drank 2x "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time", but man oh man, even inibriated, I feel we kicked ass... utterly

8. Bush - Gaffe Central
"If Kerry had been president, the world would be better off."

"I'll pick a supreme court justice who will vote for me"

"Need some wood?"

Jeez, the guy is even more embarrassing this time.

9. I do have to say that shrub did a better job at controlling his face
I guess DICK threatened him with a Whuppin' if he made any funny faces. Still, I don't think that helped him at all. Every time he opened his mouth he sounded like a nervous middle school student giving their first presentation before the whole class.

10. The guy on Charlie Rose said
"If you didn't know anything about these two guys going in, you'd have thought that Bush was the challenger and Kerry was the President."

That about says it all.

11. I completely agree
The chimp didn't handle himself in a presidential manner at all. He really seemed to be having a terrible time out there. I think he would have rather been back at camp David, drinking bourbon and snorting some white powdery substance.
