list the tics you saw
I saw a tic under his left eye. Tic, tic, tic.

I saw him sort of suck his lower lip.

I saw him squint his eyes a LOT, as if he could not comprehend English.

I saw his eyelashes flutter.

More?

31. He not only snapped--he ignored the rules and lost his temper.
It was unbelievable.

2. Not a tic but
I really hate the way he walks around with his head hunched forward...it reminds me of a bobblehead.

3. he does the strangest thing
with his jaw. If he was on haldol or one of the anti psychotic drugs it might make sense. Note the way he moved his jaw sideways and back. He did keep better control of the grimaces...they must have put him on something. He still looks like Alfred E.

6. I saw that too
Especially at the beginning. It was like he had a temporal mandibular joint malfunction or like the tin man in Oz....wait, that was Cheney.

14. Probably dosed on pharmaceutical cocaine
along with testosterone and valium, all remotely dosed through some kind of venal port via remote control.

9. He had to force himself not to smirk several times. Tics, jaw clenching,
blinking. Straight lip a whole lot of times.

Like he was on speed. Would also explain his wildness for the first 46 minutes and culminating when he blew up on Charlie.

19. Yes!! He did that a lot.
I kept watching and I'm convinced he is on some sort of speed or coke. That's a new one I haven't seen him do before tonight.

Anyone see him do this before?

12. maybe not a tic, but did you see the cocky, smartass wink
he gave someone (not the questioner) after, I believe, a rebuttal. It was in the first half, but I don't remember the question, just the wink...it was an arrogant "I showed the sumbitch" kind of a look. It was quick and at the bottom of the screen (on FOX affiliate) as they moved on to the next question.

22. Yeah, I saw at least two winks
I thought it was very inappropriate. If Kerry was winking to audience members there would be an outrage among the talking heads.

17. the winking thing
Edited on Fri Oct-08-04 10:33 PM by mike6640
annoys me when I see anyone do it.

I noticed him putting most of his weight on his right leg and turn his left foot on the outside edge while standing. Kind of like a lopsided bowleg.

M

on edit: you saw it too Fla Dem!

was his eyelids. He kept blinking continuously. I was beginning to wonder if he needed some eyewash. and he did his old tried and true shoulder shrug and laugh he does.

23. Frequent eye blinking
He did better than last week (oooh, that would be tough), but I felt warm and fuzzy the more he batted his eyelashes when Kerry twisted that knife in his spinless back. That's a sign of lying, right?

26. He BURPED. The chimp burped on national television.
It was in the last 45 minutes of the debate - C-span had him on split screen while Kerry was talking. He made one of his pruny faces, and then did a closed-mouth burp.

27. When Kerry was raking him over, the camera shot
closed in on him just sitting there clenching his teeth and blinking like a battery operated chimp about to explode. I found it troubling none of the media people talked about how chimp looked as if he was having a hard time controlling the rage, yet they went on and on about Gore in 2000 being "sedated" after his first disasterous "sighing" debate.

29. Short, swift nod ("so there") - at the end of most answers
As in "that'll show him". Very nasty, very deranged.
he scared me last night - there's one thing to "know" man's unstable, another to witness it.

32. Tardive Dyskinesia..
This is what I thought last night when I saw him moving his jaw back and forth sideways. He did it mostly when not talking but did display it when he was pacing and talking. I've wondered if he has been on some kind of psychotropic medication for some time.
