On the environment question, Bush* did his job by spouting out all the
phony programs "Clean Skies Initiative", etc. Kerry did not whack him on this the way I thought he would, so I scored Bush* with a "win" on this question. He'll get him the next time, though.

1. Didn't you hear him?
He's a great "steward of the land".

2. Did you see the reaction shot of the questioner?
Pure disgust and disbelief at what Shrub was saying.

4. Kerry did play this soft

Was he just not prepared?

Why didn't Kerry trash Bush?

Why didn't he talk about how every fish in AMerica is unedible due to mercury poisoning, attributed to Bush deregulating the coal plants?

Why didn't he point out that the Environmental appointee to the EPA that retired in protest on Bush was previously a anti-environmental lobbyist? When even a lobbyist resigns in protest against your policies you know they're bad.

There are 1000's of things Kerry could of used and didn't and I'm somewhat disappointed again with how he handled this question.

6. Their president bush....

totally looked jaded during his response to this question. He couldn't put the words "terror, killers, war" in his answer so therefore he was screwed. He knew that he was toast on this question and it showed.

7. George Orwell would have been proud of George Bush
but no one who cares about the environment was fooled by his answer.

8. The problem is that people who are not tuned in on the environmental
issues may think he has done a good job, even though all those programs are phony.
